Does anyone still make a headphone with a quarter inch plug?
I've tried some adapters from the 3.5 mm to 1/4 in. but so far the quality of the connection leaves allot to be desired, so i need the old style with the 0.25 in. plug to work with my 150 watt bass amp.
1 AnswerHome Theater9 years agoDo you pay to have your grass cut? If so, how much?
I'm trying to get a rough idea of how much people usually pay to get their lawns cut. I've seen lots of calculators on the net but I would like to know how much people are actually paying not just some estimate based on a program. Thanks
2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoDo you need any special permits to start a lawn care business in KY?
I'm thinking of starting a lawn care company in my home town of Louisville, Ky and was wondering if there are any special permits/licenses that are needed in addition to the usual business licenses from the state and county. Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agoEngine/transmission positioning?
I'm starting a car buildup that's going to use a mid mounted engine. So I need to use a engine/trans out of a front wheel drive car and mount it in the mid/back of the car. Now here's the question, what front wheel drive cars have the engine mounted in front of the trans axle? please be specific as far as make and model are concerned. Thank you.
2 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoIN/KY machine shop recommendations?
I need recommendations/experiences for a high quality machine shop. I'm in the Louisville area but I'm willing to travel quite a ways if necessary. I'm building a road race engine for a 4.6 liter Mustang GT and these engines are sensitive to sloppy machining. So I need a good shop, I don't care about the price, just the quality.
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agowhere to fish the Mcalpine Lock And Dam?
I've heard of many nice sized cat fish caught around the Mcalpine Lock And Dam on the Ohio river. But I'm wondering, where do you fish from it. Can anyone who has fished there give me an address or at least a street name for where you go to fish it. Thank you.
1 AnswerFishing1 decade agoare there any parks with streams in or near Louisville Ky?
I'm looking for a park or some other public place around the Louisville, Ky area that has a stream or creek in it. Now that Otter Creek is closed I don't have a place to catch creek chubs anymore. And please don't say buy them at a bait shop, the ones I use for bait are way bigger than any of the bait they sell around here. thank you

1 AnswerOther - Pets1 decade agoCan you be forced to pay child support before you're divorced?
Here goes, I live in Ky. and was wondering if a person can have an order of child support slapped on them b4 the marriage is actually dissolved. I ask because a person who seems to always be jerking my chain is claiming that their spouse owes them back child support. They are separated but they still haven't even started the devorce proceedings yet. I'm thinking their statment is BS but then I've never been divorced or had to deal with child support. Any help would be appreciated.
11 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoUnited States Record Channel Catfish?
I was looking at a picture of the "world record" channel cat and noticed the fish had a square tail. I thought all channel cats had forked tails. all the channels that I have caught have forked tails, all the pictures/illustrations in books and magazines show forked tails. So my question is, has anyone out there ever caught(or have an explanation for ) a channel cat with a square tail. thank you
2 AnswersFishing1 decade agoDoes any1 know of a casein protein powder that does not have sucralose?
OK I have been using whey protein shakes for a while now(unflavored) and I am not having any problems with them. I want to add a casein protein supplement but all the ones I can find have sucralose in them and when I tried them I get really bad cramps, I can't seem to find a casein protein powder around here locally that doesn't have sucralose(the generic term for Splenda). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness1 decade agoany1 know a good people search that has accurate up to date info?
Ok. here is the deal I don't want all the usuall answers about zabasearch and white pages and all the other free crap, they can't find what I want. I am willing to pay to get my results but the people I'm searching for moved recently( 1 within about a year and 1 about 3 months ago) so I need to know if anyone has had experience with a pay search that can turn up recent results. I tried both ussearch and intelius but both turned up outdated addresses. I tried a more expensive search from ussearch one of there assisted something or anothers and it gave me the name I was looking for but the address was ocupied by some old woman whose name wasn't even close to the lady I was looking for and she was about 40 yrs. to old anyway. I've already gone through about $90 so far and I'm still nowhere. So if you have had good experiences with a people search that is actually usefull please help me out. Thank you.
