  • wife confessed she had an emotional affair, cant forgive herself.?

past two months wife has been confused she had an emotional affair, along with recently being caught lying about being at her sisters when she was really at work( was able to see this first hand, and confront her about it)

my question is i have been trying to be the good husband, patient, kind, and quick to avoid arguments with her. and with our 9 year anniversary i am still loyal and dedicated to my wife, but find it hard at times to trust and believe what she, considering she still tell me she wants space, and still figuring out what she what she wants

So question is as hard as im fighting for this marriage, and understand that she is not at 100, what can i do to my sanity, yet still be their for my wife.

  • Verbally and psychically parents?

a friend recently moved back home to help her parents out, and this went down hill. It seems the parents still hold on things that happened a few years back and at every chance her mother tells her how much of an embarrassment she is. Her father also admitted that he no remorse for hitting her in the past and he felt that it was need to "correct her"

My question is how in the world can parents be this way and how can i help i help her. Its obvious both her her parents are abusive both psychically and verbally but in truth im at a lost and how much i can hep her.

i dont mean cheating or anything like that im refering to opptunities to travel, a great job that you knew was a once in a lifetime chance. what choices did you make and do you look back and regret your choice knowing in many ways it would alter the road your life would take?

  • have any of you had this happen to you?

this week my fiance needed a break from me she told me she needed to really find herself, and deal with the issues that she has, because she did not like all the anger that she was holding inside.she also wanted to to become closer to god, and put him first she started she wanted to grow as a person. She told me if she really loved me i would give her this and she also told me that she wants to know that she can love her husband with out the stuff she is feeling. She tell me that she needs needs to stop Communication for the month and at the end of the month we will see where we are at. She also told me that sh wants me to respect her meaning no other girls and she wil do the same.

I will admit i am hurt, but i told her i will be her no matter what to support her. I know this month wont be easy for me, an i know she asked me to work on myself, not to lot at the relationship focus on me. Ill admit im afraid that she will grow apart from me, but i also know she told me when it all said an done we will be starting where we left off, but starting from scratch

I was wondering have anyone of you had to deal with something like this

and i know one thing if she wanted break up she would have straight out did it,

i know the road will be rough, but i guess im scared, i know i cant talk to her, so what can i do i want to be as supportive as possible

  • How can i ease the pain i feel?

Me and my finance have had our problems, and me and her both agreed to take three weeks to take a break to work on ourselves, and in many ways learn to miss each other and at the same time she wants to build herself up to become stronger a person

during this time we will not see each other, but we will be emailing and talking, sending quotes from the bible to each other. She told me she wants to work on herself, and I do the same and when the times come we start by relaying that foundation.

she was clear that we respect each other no other man or woman, an I dedicated to up holding that. I know its been one day but i miss her and i can say it hurts knowing ill be away from her, but in many ways I’m dedicated to becoming better for myself and her.

We both agreed to limit how much we talk, but I’m more determined to become a better man for myself , and for her

My question is what can I do to ease the pain I know this will much us miss each and want each other much more, but a day has not gone by an I’m already missing the love of my life what can I do have any of you been in the same situation im in
