  • Will I get my iPhone5 sooner if shipped through Apple or my provider, AT&T?

I am going to order an iPhone5 online. I have two options, order it through Apple or through the AT&T website since that is my provider. I want to get it as soon as possible. Which do you recommend?

  • What other stocks will benefit from Facebook IPO?

I saw today that Zynga stock jumped on the filing of the Facebook IPO. What other stocks will react when the FB stock starts trading in three months? I am anticipating that none of us will have a chance at purchasing any FB stock at that time so I'm trying to find other stocks that will benefit from the "halo" effect similar to what just happened to Zynga. Any suggestions out there from private investors? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

  • Has anyone ever made money using Jim Cramer's stock recommendations?

If you followed a stock recommendation of Jim Cramer could you tell me if you made money or lost money, what the stock was (you can just include the ticker symbol) and how much you paid for the stock and how much you sold it for. I am doing a project for a class and your survey answers will be extremely helpful.

  • I have a question about facebook "privacy".?

When you block someone from seeing your facebook status, posts, pictures, etc. do they see the icon and your name in the chat group when you are logged into facebook. In other words, you are "active" on the website? People tell me that although they are blocked by the security settings from seeing posts, pictures, etc. that they are still able to see when I am logged in and active on the website.

  • Will downloading OS 4 onto my 3G iPhone prevent me from unlocking/jailbreaking later?

I have a 3G iPhone (unactivated) that a friend just gave me. He upgraded to the new iPhone 4. He wiped it clean of all apps and data. It only has the "connect to iTunes" indicator and the emergency call feature loaded onto it. I want to use it like an iTouch for now (download music, apps and use the wi-fi feature) but might want to activate it later using either my T-Mobile account or an AT&T or Verizon plan. If I connect it to my laptop and download the latest edition of OS for iPhones, will it prevent me from unlocking it or jailbreaking it later?

  • How do I unlock 3g iphone?

A friend just purchased a new iphone 4 and gave me his old iphone 3g. He wiped it clean of all apps so there are currently none on the phone. Only function that shows up when I turn it on is the connect to itunes and emergency call function. I don't think it has a sim card in it since he used that for his new phone. I am nervous about doing anything yet to the phone (such as updating OS, loading apps, etc.) so I was wondering if you could provide me with the appropriate process and steps to use make the phone usuable even if i have to purchase some unlocking software. Do I also have to jailbreak the phone (not sure what that is so I need help desperately). Thanks

  • Have you purchased an unlocked iPhone and does it work with T-Mobile service?

I am curious if anyone out there has actually purchased an unlocked iPhone (any version) and inserted their sim card from a T-Mobile phone and had it work. If so, explain the process and your impressions of doing this. Thanks

  • When will iPhone be available to other carriers?

Does anyone out there have any information about what carriers will be added in the near future to handle coverage for the iPhone? I keep hearing rumors about Verizon or T-Mobile but nothing confirmed or official.

  • What would be my cancellation fee with T-Mobile?

I have a contract with t-mobile with three phones on it. We have three separate phone numbers. There are different plans on each phone. All three have different contract lengths. We are thinking of moving to a different carrier. Would the $200 cancellation fee apply to just the overall account, if we cancelled all three phones, or would it be $200 for each phone and plan for a total of $600?

  • Which phone is the closest to an iphone?

I have t-mobile and can't switch to an iphone. I want a phone that is most compatible with all of the apple products such as my MacBook Pro laptop, ipod, and ipod Touch. I want to "sync" all of the programs such as "contacts", "calendar", "notes", etc. between my phone and laptop. I don't want to use Google products that use "cloud computing" as I'm not comfortable with level of security. Any suggestions on the best phone that would accomplish what I want? It has to be a T-Mobile phone.

  • Is 600 dpi scanner sufficient?

I have a Canon MP600 (multifunction printer/scanner/copier) and I'm interested in scanning a large number of old photographs (mostly 4" x 6" and some 5" x 7"). The highest setting is 600 dpi for scanning photographs. I want to keep digital copies for future reference and will print out some of them at a later date. Is the 600 dpi sufficient or should I find a scanner with a higher dpi capability?
