Today I went to log into my facebook and it said that my account had been accessed by an android/safari in the united states.

My password would be next to impossible to guess without a program, since it is just a random combination of letters and numbers... not a real word, and certainly nothing that is linked with my personality or lifestyle. Nothing on my account was changed.. no emails, status updates, links, messages... nothing was sent out or apparently touched.

Of course I got on and changed my passwords today, and plan to do it again later. I just have to wonder if this is even possible. Can passwords be phished using android? and from what i understand safari is used by apple products - not android.

Or is it more likely that someone I know got onto my account?

I keep a very tidy home.

We do not have spoiled food or garbage in or near the house. I don't keep food on the countertops, all produce is in the fridge.

Last fall we had a terrible housefly infestation.. and we couldn't find the "source".. or whatever it was that was attracting them. We went through the house top to bottom and checked for anything we may have missed.

Well today is the first truly warm day we've had... spring seems to have arrived. My upstairs hallway has a window at the end of it, and nothing at all is in that hallway. Just some family photos on the walls. The window is literally covered in houseflies.

How is this possible?? What are we missing??

My hair is naturally a very ashy dark blonde. I buy professional color and always purchase ash - usually pretty close to my natural hair color, nothing much darker or lighter (aside from occasionally getting highlights)

But sometimes immediately after I color it starts to turn a bit red. And the longer I go.. the more it starts to turn kind of a rusty orange. It isn't a bright color, it just gets a warm cast. We have city water, not well water - so I'm not sure if it could be the water. I just don't know how to fix it. I have tried adding brass correction stuff to my color, using tinted shampoos... but my hair keeps going orange. What could this be??

My brother in law is getting married, and I've just received an invitation to his fiance's wedding shower. Husband and I are both laid off, struggling to even make ends meet. We can NOT afford a gift, and I know my husband's family would be horrified if I showed up with just a card - or worse yet, didn't show up at all.

HELP. :(

A few days ago my husband and I noticed a toad sitting in our new (tiny.. and empty) pond. He's cute... but today there are now eight toads in our tiny pond. Mating. They are ALL cute.

But how many toads should I expect to come out of this? Should we remove the eggs when they are done? Are we going to be overrun with baby toads??

A woman that I've taken care of for the last 18 months has passed away, and calling hours are about to start. The family is expecting me to come, but I am suddenly very very sick.

I have no idea what to do??

We just want an attractive water feature... we aren't interested at this point in having fish or plants in the water. How do we treat the water in order to keep it clear and reduce the risk of algae? It's an 80 gallon preformed pond.

My dog was scheduled to be spayed, but went into her first heat so we needed to reschedule. We gave her about 2 1/2 months to get back to normal, and had her spayed 4 days ago.

Her incision looks good, it's healing nicely.. but I noticed last night that she was lactating.

Now she keeps whimpering and she is trembling, but she seems to be fine if I pet her or keep her close to me.

It's the weekend, so I can't call her vet in the morning... but does anyone know what this could be?

This is complicated, so bear with me...

My husband has 2 sons with his ex, they were never married, and the children were conceived when my husband and his ex were in high school. She repeatedly denies visitation, and not only that.. she SCREAMS at my husband (i can hear her on the phone) that they have plans, or he didn't call soon enough, or she isn't going to force the kids to come if they don't want to. Thing is, it's always an excuse. They are sick, or they don't want to come, or they have plans... etc.

But many times I have caught her lying. She will tell us they are sick, but you can hear them running and playing in the background. Or, last week for example, one of the boys called my husband and told him that they didnt' want to come over that weekend. After telling his ex that we are going to fight this repeated intereference in court, the boy called back and said he would come see Santa, but then they wanted to go straight home. Well, needless to say.. my husband found out that they had family photos scheduled for that specific weekend.

She has taken us to court and accused us of physically abusing (ELECTRICUTING!!) and starving the kids. The court threw the case out.

Once, I remember the kids saying that their mother told them they could go shopping and buy this cool new toy they were excited about if their "father would send me my money already". Mind you, this was coming from kids who were barely 7 years old, AND, my husband sends his child support on time (50% of his income).

She got married recently, and is pregnant with her second child by the husband. Since she has been married this has just gotten worse. They have started calling their father by his first name, and calling their stepfather "daddy". She insists they wanted to do this on their own, and she won't stop them. Getting time with the kids is like pulling teeth, and although she has repeatedly been found in contempt, the court NEVER does anything about it. I absolutely hate this, and so does my husband. Every now and then I will gently ask the boys why they don't come over very often, and that we miss them when they aren't here... and they both react the same way. They immediately look straight at the floor and refuse to speak, with their hands fidgeting or crossed behind their backs. It's heartbreaking.

Can we do anything about this? We don't have money to spend on a lawyer anymore, my husband is included in a mass layoff, and as I said child support is 50% of his income.

I have an assignment where I have to figure out my own definitions for a long list of terms. Although I understand the meaning of the following.. I have no idea how to make a "definition" for them. These are the only terms I am having trouble coming up with a definition for.

Do you have to have any sort of certification to work independently as a senior caregiver/companion in Ohio? I know you don't need certification to work with an agency.

A woman that I know, in her 90s has a tumor on the back of her tongue, growing into her throat. No metastasis so far. She is 80lbs, very frail... too frail for surgery, or for chemo. Radiation therapy is an option, but probably not a full course. We aren't looking for a miracle... she would just rather not have this tumor suffocate her if it can be avoided. We are aware that she will probably succumb to this eventually... just hoping to find some things that will build her strength, and even help gain weight so that she can get through this a little more comfortably. We are familiar with essiac (and I have used it effectively in the past.)

What other herbs or homeopathic treatments would you recommend to get her through radiation?

The bulk of my home is in one great big room. The living room/computer room. There is a large archway that "separates" them, but visually it views as one giant room, including high ceilings. The smaller half of the room is painted white below the chair rail, and a pale lemony yellow above the chair rail. The other half is a dull white in desperate need of paint.

I can't choose a paint color for that room. I am afraid continuing the yellow would be garish in such large quantities.

The entire house has very dark, reddish stained trim (french doors, window frames, banister.. etc). It is spruce, but the stain has darkened over many years. I do not plan to change the trim, since it is one of the historical points of the home.

The design style we've used throughout the home has a cottage feel... with a little bit of beachy inspiration. Lots of natural elements, flowers, stone, brick, pale yellows, variety of blues, whites.

I just can't for the life of me pick a color for the other half of this room.

We live in a very old home and it has beautiful antique solid spruce french doors on the interior. The problem is that large gaps have developed between each of the two sets of doors. (in the middle, where the doors meet)... and we lose a lot of heat this way. I don't want to use tape, since it would damage the wood. Are there permanent, attractive solutions for sealing between doors, as opposed to around the frame?

I have a basset hound and she is due to go to the vet next month... but I have noticed that her butt is like, drooping. It almost looks like SHE has small testicles... but I'm sure that isn't what it is. I know that basset's are more likely to have anal sac troubles, but this never seems to bother her. She doesn't bite at it, or stink, or drag her rear on the floor. It just looks like her butt is droopy. Since it doesn't bother her, I wasn't planning on rushing her to the vet before her appt... but I'm wondering what this could be? I can't find anything online that makes any sense. Her rectum and the rest of her seems fine, but her actual butt looks fat and saggy. Any thoughts??

Tore down some wallpaper this week, and there is wood paneling underneath. I am having a really hard time getting the glue off. Most of it is coming off, but is leaving a film. This wallpaper had to of been up over 30 years already...

I don't care very much about the state of the panels once I am finished.. just as long as they are in tact enough to PAINT. I will need to prime them, I know that... but I don't think that I can even prime over this filmy mess left on them.

My employer keeps making big mistakes on my pay, and is giving me a hard time about fixing it. For 6 months they shorted me a small amount on my wages (small enough that it took me a while to notice it). When I brought it to their attention, they originally said they would deny my request to be paid my back wages, citing that their records could only allow them to pay me back one month. When I persisted, they agreed they would make a full adjustment on my next pay.

Got the next paycheck (and checked it closely this time) to find that there was NO adjustment at all, not for one month, or in full. My weekend wage was short 25 cents an hour, I was short one full day of pay, and my regular wages were short 50 cents for a 9.5 hour work period.

I recently received a $1.45 raise that I was told would go into effect Aug 1st. They also added a $3 per day fuel bonus which was said to go into effect Aug 1st. Got my pay (8/8), and no raise. The fuel surcharge was there, but only $2.50 per day. I was told I would receive every penny, but now they said that 50 cents goes to "pay the accountant".

I am prepared to go in Monday and demand my compensation immediately... can I do that? Also, how can they get away with making such a huge mess of someone's pay, and then giving me a hard time about it?? I work for a company that is quite large, they have businesses nationwide.

Can someone help me figure out what I can do to get this straightened out? I don't live in an area where I can just go about quitting my job and hoping to get another. At the same time, I worked hard for my money, and I feel I am entitled to receive my full paycheck on payday.

Can you experience a phantom pregnancy without actually believing that you are pregnant?

I have all of the physical signs of pregnancy... including a hard swollen belly... but I am NOT pregnant. My friends and family and husband all joke that I am, but I'm actually not... although for months my stomach has been larger and harder, i am craving strange foods, and turned off by other foods that I normally like. I have a heightened sense of smell, and even brushing my teeth in the morning makes me gag and/or throw up. I am, however, still getting my period... though a few have been very light and short. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests and all have been negative.... and I just don't THINK I am pregnant.

Could this be some sort of medical condition? What else could cause these symptoms?

I don't have health insurance... so I can't just go to the doctor and start having tests run to find out what is wrong... that would be the easy answer...
