For companies with 1Bil+ market cap - The Board submits a pay proposal to shareholders. The proposal is divided into the top 20% in 5% ranks & the Board. Any part that does not get approved is reduced by 10% until approved and a pay package cannot be increased until its’ predecessor is approved for a year. Rejected packages must be resubmitted for approval within 6 months and are reduced by 10% for each failed vote. When a new person moves into a new position, their pay can be increased by 5% over the previous pay until a new pay package is approved by shareholders. At which time it can be whatever is approved. This 5% increase is a one-time increase until a new package is approved regardless of how many successive people fill the spot until the new package is approved.

Since some Chinese company was lined up to make the small cars, I am sure they can get a loan from the Chinese government (using US treasuries as collateral) to buy one of them with an in-built set of dealers.

Then why doesn't Obama propose raising money for his plans by limiting the home mortgage deduction to the amount it exceeds 7.5 % of a persons income( the current threshold for medical deductions)? Why doesn't he propose to make health costs fully deductible for those that itemize? And for those that don't have a special box on the 1040 & EZ. This box would be the deduction for the amount paid for a private healthcare policy (defined by the government as a basic plan). The companies that could give the best rates would get the most business. Why can't the government define a basic policy? They define the minimum car insurance I need to carry?

Are is a power grab more important? If passed into law, what will be the anticipated date that these government subsidy/ rebate taxes paid back to taxpayer plans will go broke in the same fashion that medicare, medicaid, and social security are anticipated to run out of money and need more tax dollars from EVERYONE?

the US and China a Seniors, both want to be prom queen. So while they need each other to be cool, there is competition. They each wrecked their car, but China's daddy fixed hers' first and now she has the opportunity to buy extra bling while the US is still paying for the dents. Guess which one looks more like a prom queen?

While the US is still playing, China's economy is coming on strong. They can buy into oil projects, and hard commodities (gold) while we can't. Add to this the Obama administration's new policies that will make us less competitive globally, and it will be a permenant leap for them.
