you think it was a good idea? i personally think by choosing to end the life of isis, the band have done a good job. they have just about ticked the first box on becoming legends. instead of releasing new mediocre albums like many old bands are doing (fu manchu, melvins, cynic), there discography glitters with many awesome albums. with some minor expections.

i made a new playlist, its similar to my previous playlists :P

i have been listening to some doom/sludge metal (gallhammer, forgotten tombs, electric wizard, boris etc etc) and prog metal (isis, tool) lately.

so make a playlist with prog metal/ sludge to get me deeper ino those genres.

no band repeats.

i have played the juice out of bands like alice in chains, kyuss, melvins, pink floyd etc. and now im getting bored of them.

i just dont feel the same rush as i used to when listening to the epic apocatheries weight or them bones.

it takes me about 2 weeks until i lose my interest in a song i just liked, losing interest in a band i really like... takes about 8 months - 1 year

i like scenes with visuals and good camerawork rather than dialogues, for me it has to be after the car crash scene in mulholland drive, where she gazes down on the city at night.
