My girlfriend might be enabling her son, and I resent the situation...?
After my divorce in Georgia, I moved to Texas and have been with a woman for about two years, each of us living in separate homes. My girlfriend, a nurse, lives with her 23 year old son who had been in trouble a few times with the law mainly on drug offenses. He has so far refused treatments (he escapes from the treatment institutions) and lost his driver's license for a year but regained it recently. He recently stopped doing drugs and turned to alcohol. For the past few months, my girlfriend has been going to the local bar to either pick him up or wait for him while he drinks so she can drive him back home between 8 and 9 at night (she doesn't drink herself), in an attempt to keep the son away from legal issues. This has been happening almost EVERY DAY for the past 3 months. My girlfriend knows I do not approve of the bar arrangement but my opinion hasn't mattered. I feel that her life is being controlled by her son and I only get time with her when she has no crisis to manage. In addition, even though my girlfriend has never said it, I truly believe her son will always live with her. I am just a boyfriend with limited leverage but I love her. The situation is unacceptable to me, for sure. I would like to hear opinions about it.

What team wins more often, based on the order of kicking (kicking first versus kicking second)? Does it matter what team starts the kickoff contest? Please limit your comments to facts, known statistics. No speculations please.
