  • Best 1080p/24p Camcorder for around $1000?

    I currently have a Panasonic Ag-Dvx100b but I want to upgrade to HD. I don't have the money for the upgrade of that particular camcorder. I want something that could conceivably be used for an independent short film or perhaps even feature length. I also want something that won't be obsolete immediately, so I am considering getting something that saves to hard drive instead of miniDv. But I could be swayed either way easily. The cameras I'm considering are:

    Canon Hv40

    Canon HF S200

    Panasonic HDC Tm900k

    But if there's other good camcorders out there for a similar price I'd be interested.
