i have wondered that for a long time now, but i have heard of the possibility of a 2 stroke diesel, is it possible, and if they are, what are they used for? also if this is possible, could it be used on a moped, could a diesel engine be small enough to be put on a moped??

I was just wondering why that is not possible, I always thought anything was possible but why is this not possible, there has to be a way. also why does time stop when something travels the speed of light. also does the same affects of falling into a blackhole happen when you travel the speed of light. sorry, I know the term for it but am a very bad speller of that word.

I was just wondeing since i am a first time user and asking someone's opinion is some times better than trying to find out yourself. I was wondering, i have a acer aspire one netbook, and looking into upgradeing for free with ubuntu or other linux operating system like debian or red hat. I was curious as can you download linux onto a netbook, or is it just too big for it to handle. also when it says install it alongside your current operating system, does that mean that you can switch back and forth between your factory installed oper. system, or does it mean something else. also can you pritty much install any games that require windows as their operating system, as well as hardware like an external dvd burner, or other stuff like printers or cameras, etc. and also would i be able to play MP3's on ubuntu, or other linux, and any other system. I am leaning sort of towords ubuntu since i have a disc already but if there is any other linux out there that is better than ubuntu let me know. thanx,

i am thinking about building a sailboat out of wood, I have years of woodworking experence, not sure where to start in building a sailboat. first what kind of materal does the sail itself have to be, does it need a foyl on the bottom, (I know I butchered that word) what is best used for sealing the boat for leaks is it wise to have a backup engine, and if you have a backup engine, do you need to license your boat or do you have to do that anyway. you may think a person like me building a boat might not work very well, like you expert boat builders out there might even think that it will sink on me, well here is to you, it's worth a try, can't learn anything if you don't try. oh and also, when i do build this boat, can it be used on both salt and fresh water bodies, like I live close to lake michigan which is fresh water would i be able to use it on the ocean, or not. thank you

I was just wondering how much work and funding it takes to get your flying license, and where is the cheapest place (if there is one) and is it worth the trouble. also what is the cost of an aircraft to rent or buy also too is there cheaper options to fly ultralight?

I was wondering what summer and winter is like in Alaska, the daylight, the tempature, the scenery stuff like that, is it depressing because if lack of light, and stuff like that. I really want to know, since i am interested in living there some day. i am from wisconsin, and it gets pritty cold here in the winter and the summer is exactally the opposite mostly warm. the daylight, from 6 am to about 5 in the afternoon, and is alaska like that, or completely different.

could i make an loft/attic type of upstairs of an old workshop, that has it's rafters showing like a garage and is uninsulated, now, is there a such thing is cheap insulation?

I have this house on my property, a second house off from the one that I live in, it has whitewash walls, a sunroom, a big enough attic that you could make it into a secondary room, or two, and has no plumbing in the house what so ever. now I would like to put in ceiling tiles that you would find in school classrooms, and would like to rewire it, since the wireing in it now is very unsafe. any tips on how to restore a house like this, and also, would it be wise to keep it original, or could i do the changes on it that I was talking about.
