I am redoing my CV. I want to send it to media companies as I am wanting to be a media administrator. I am struggling to write a good objective. I am eager to seek a postition as a media administrator in an established local company where my technical and admin skills will be utilized in company productiveity and office management. Is this good enough? I dont really know how to integrate the media part, any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I need some advice on my covering letter. I am sending my CV to media companys to let them know I would like to work for them. These companys have no vacanies at the moment but I am desperate for a job so Im trying it this way. Please can someone tell me what they think of my covering letter, is it good enough, is the spelling and grammar ok? Should I add some more info, if yes what? Thanks for all advice. I am writing to you, as I am interested in perusing a job as media administrator. I believe that my education and experience are appropriate for this position. I am seeking an exciting, challenging position that offers both professional and personal growth to apply my skills and abilities.

Having graduated from the University of Bradford with BSc Creative Media & Technology and recently completed my NVQ 2 in business and administration I am confident I have the knowledge and skills necessary for this position.

For the past two years I have worked as an administrator for Bradford Council. As the council is facing cuts of several million pounds over the next two financial years my job is not save and I feel it is time to move on.

My present job involves various administration tasks, I interact with customers on a daily basis. I am also responsible for updating and maintaining my employers website and Facebook page. I create flyers, posters and leaflets on a weekly basis. Further more I am responsible for content on the Lifechannel.

I have been working for the council as Admin level 1 for over a year.

I have recently completed univeristy and now have a BSc in Creative media and Technology. I know it is an unrelated degree to the job i am doing now, even though it requires IT skills- which I have.

Someone told me that you get paid more if you have a univerity degree even if its unrelated to the job you are doing, is this true? If yes, how much more?

Hi, I think I have the flu but i didnt know how to get rid of it.

Three days ago I woke up with a really sore throat. Its hard to swallow and there are two swollen bits in my throat that hurt in the morning. I also have a really runny nose and my body hurts. I get hot and cold flashes at night when I sleep. Its kinda gross. Ive been taking paracetamol since last night now and drinking lots of tea.

What else can I do to get rid of these symptoms as I have a full day of work tomorrow. I especially want to get rid of my sore throat and the swelling.Pleas help, thanks.

Hi, Im looking for a mp3 player that has bluetooth and does not cost more than 30 quid. Has more than 2 GB and that you personally can recommend. The reason it needs to have bluetooth is that i have some awsome wireless headset from Jabra (BT3030) and i would like to use them with the mp3 player. thanks

I got an ipod touch for xmas. it synced fine on my old labtop which was Xp. I just got a new labtop with windows 7, installed itunes 9, 64 bit for windows 7. When i plug my ipod in it installed the drivers fine and it recognizes it in itunes BUT when it syncs i receive an error message saying : The Ipod "name" cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (-53). It deleted all my apps but my music is still there.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the itunes software, i have restored my ipod touch and then restored from backup. Nothing works.

Please help this is really annoying.

Hi, i am looking to get myself a laptop this Christmas. But i need some help on choosing on as i actually have no understanding of hardware. I was wondering if someone could explain to me how when i go into a shop i know the laptop i get is a good one ? I am a design student and would like to run Adobe CS4 suite on my computer or at least photoshop, now i know u need a decent laptop to run these programs, but that's about it so:

What am i looking for in a laptop and would i find anything decent in shops such as PC world ?

Hi i am on Income Support and Carers Allowance. (I care for my nan everyday she has had a couple of strokes.) and i was wondering if the Job center pays towards drinving lessons. I know there is a Clothing allowance for people that sign on so i was wondering if there was a driving lesson allowance or if something could be paid towards it. thanks

I want to get my boyfriend driving lessons and his test paid for his birthday. He can already drive, he used to have a provisional driving lisence but that has now expired. So i dont think he will need a lot of lessons, how much does it cost for a couple lessons and how much do the driving tests cost ? any other costs i should know about ?
