A new restaurant opened up here in Knoxville, it's basically a Hooters with Mexican food instead of burgers and wings. I and my friends cannot decide what the logo is supposed to represent. Some of us believe that it's supposed to represent a woman's blouse and bust, or, perhaps, a bra. Others think that it's supposed to be a depiction of a woman's buttocks and legs, leaning forward at the waist, with crossed legs.

Hi there, I was asked to figure out what is wrong with my buddy's iBook G3. Trouble is, he's two states away, and not very technically inclined, so the questions I'm asking him aren't getting me much information. Here's what he's told me: It was dropped, it turns on but OSX doesn't load, the CDROM drive won't open, and the keyboard and mouse are not responsive. The apple symbol shows up on the screen and I believe he is saying the spinning beachball icon shows up but just keeps spinning.

I'm not sure what version of OSX he has.

Just as an aside, he claims that he's never seen any video issues like he would see if he were afflicted by the issue that some G3 iBooks seem to suffer from.

So basically it sounds to me like he's broken his hard drive, from the descriptions he's given me. Are there any other suggestions as to what it might be, or any telling questions I could ask him that might shed more light on the situation? Thank you all so much for any help you can give me!

I'm looking to replace the hard drive in an iBook G3. Is there anything that makes an Apple HDD unique or can I put a hard drive from an HP or Toshiba laptop in there instead? Thanks! Please state a source if you could.
