Two of my goldfish have been spawning when I feed them and I thought that any eggs would have been eaten until I moved their driftwood for vacuuming and found this. Basically I'm just wondering if the only ethical solution is to expose the eggs and let the fish eat them. I don't really want to buy a larger aquarium right now since I'm hoping to move within the next few months and plan on upgrading then.

Here's my current tank setup. I have 3 goldfish 2 probably under 3 inches and 1 (the mother I'm assuming based on spawning behavior) may be almost 6 I haven't measured yet. They live with a tiny pleco and 3 mystery snails in a 40g breeder with 600 gph filtration and I have just upped my water changes to 25% twice a week. I do have an empty 20 gallon tank and could move the smaller 200 gph filter into it. Honestly I'd really like to keep at least one of the babies but I've never bred goldfish before and I'm not really sure that it's realistic.

Hi, recently set up a 40 gallon breeder (which I plan to upgrade in a few months) with 3 young goldfish and 2 mystery snails. It has filtration for up to 70 gallons, some gravel, ornaments and a few live plants. I am really enjoying keeping them and would like to get some information on adding some more animals. I've always liked cleaner shrimp and think they'd help me keep the tank clean but I'm concerned I'm already pushing the stock limit of my 40 gallon. It would be great to get some advice on this or maybe even some suggestions of other things that do well with goldfish.

Hi, so I know this is a pretty common question and the answer I always seem to find is "do what makes you happy" but what do I do if very few things make me happy and nobody would pay me to do them? When I was young I was diagnosed with Tourette's. Add came with it and eventually I was put on concerta which i think did more long term harm than my chemical imbalance. My tics stopped around middle school but I was left with add ocd and some pretty severe social anxiety. Over the years I really started to hate the public school system. I didn't realize it back then but I think the reason was that I hate the way that society works and school was trying to prepare me for that.

I always excelled in learning the material and generally had good grades but I knew that socially I would never be on par with my peers. When my knowledge started becoming less important to my grade than showing my work and giving oral reports I got frustrated and decided to drop out and earn my diploma through an alternative high school.

Since then I have pretty much done nothing but the bare minimum i needed to get by. Now I'm 23 working in a warehouse and renting a trailer. I don't think that I have the time or the dedication for college. I have started to take some free courses on computer science but I fear that the years of binge drinking and apethy towards education have doomed me to live in poverty. Should I just accept my place as a failure or risk what's left for a chance to change it.

i really want to start vaporizing and they seem to have a lot of advantages over an actual vaporizer but is that because they are only efficient at vaping those oils? i know they go by volts instead of an actual temp but are they accurate? like if i set it to a certain voltage will it consistently heat to the same temp?

everywhere i look online seems to agree that having a thermostat regulated heat pad is a must, but the only pet store in my area that has a thermostat controlled power strip has only one brand and it costs $50. i pretty much blew my budget on the enclosure and emenities for my corn snake so im trying to find a safe way to set up my tank without allowing harm to come to it.

im using newspaper as substrate and ive thought about taping a square around the surface of the terrarium where the heat pad is heating directly so my snake cant burrow past it. all i have to work with is a thermometer, a heat pad, and a day/night timed power strip that i was planning on using for a different reptile in the future. if anyone has any ideas please let me know, thanks.

i have recently acquired a young corn snake. my roomate has owned snakes in the past and swears up and down that it doesnt need a heat pad in the summer since we live in a trailer. i know i should have had this figured out beforehand but he was kind of dropped on us unexpectedly.

during the day the ambient air temp of the enclosure was 81-83 degrees farenheit, but now its 9 pm and the temp is at 78. im worried that it will decrease more as the night progresses. is it ok for the temp to drop at night? he says its fine cause it gets cold at night outside. i feel like hes wrong but he has more experience. any advice would be appreciated.

i know people say that being agnostic is a stance of knowledge and that wether you are a theist or an atheist is a stance of belief. i guess my real question is what is the difference between belief and knowledge.

as a human the only thing that is possible to know for sure is that you exist in some way. everything else is a result of what our brain determines based on our only way to relate to what we see as the world, our senses.

doesnt this mean that what we know as knowledge is what we believe to be true based on what we are told or shown by the universe and the people who study it?

are we assuming that when people say they believe in something they arent basing it on anything? ive always thought that every thought that runs through our head is based on what we are experiencing or what we have previously experiencing so i dont even see how thats possible.

to me saying that you are agnostic seems like saying that there is know way to know for sure but really that is the only fact that we do know for sure. not just about religion but every aspect of our lives.

I recently rescued a rose haired tarantula , Zeus, from someone who was planning on squishing him if he couldn't find it a home. The first substrate I got for him was kind of a mixture of mostly dirt and small pieces of bark. It held moisture well but zeus was always climbing. I went to a local pet store yesterday, franklin hardware and pet supply, and they said that pretty much any wood substrate worked well for tarantulas. I picked out this chipped bark substrate and they said that it would work. So I got home cleaned the tank out and set everything up and zeus started climbing almost immediately, now he's just kind of hiding in a corner. Should I count my $8 as a loss to switch his substrate again and possibly stress him out more or would it be better to let him adjust and see if he gets used to it?

Just bought my girlfriend a ps3 from ebay so we can play together and it seems to work perfectly other then the fact that it always freezes at the loading screen when I start kino der toten. I don't think it can be the disc because I've tested it on my ps3 and it works every time. No other problems connecting to the Internet or anything yet. What do you think, should i try to get a refund or maybe just reinstall black ops or something?

I recently bought gta v for Xbox 360 and before I even got a chance to install it I dropped disc one and it got scratched. Is it possible to borrow my friends disc 1 just for the install and play only using disc 2

ok so I've done some research (mostly on anti drug sites) and I don't see why we would choose as a nation to not only deny the benefits of this plant but also halt the progression of our culture based on theories that state that it may be addictive and mind altering in harmful ways while no studies ever seem to show proof to back them up. I mean look at tobacco and alcohol. they have many proven harmful effects on the body and mind that weed would never even get close to. in my opinion the losing side in this argument seems to usually be backed up with facts and common sense, while the winning side rely on easily altered statistics and vague situational statements. I'm not trying to come down on the people who think it should remain illegal. I believe I am as ignorant to their side as they are to mine. so please if anyone has a good solid argument on why this plant with many medical, recreational, and economic advantages and less side effects then something you can go pick up at any pharmacy I am legitimately interested in hearing your point and trying to understand.

when i try to play the game i get the error message "cannot initialize engine please check direct3d or driver" ive already tried updating directx and my driver. im not sure how to tell wether my videocard meets the requirements but im assuming its that since everything else seems to. here are the system requirements for the game.

When trying to play dragons prophet on my girlfriends computer it gave me a message telling me to check my driver so I did. The date on it was from 08, but when I went to Microsoft to try to update directx it basically tells me that my version is up to date and there will be no download. Can someone please tell me another way to get the newest version or possibly another solution to the problem with dragons prophet. I checked the system requirements and everything else seems to be sufficient.

i've never tried to hook up dual monitors before so its probably something simple. i installed a new graphics card a while back and haven't used the original for months, and now that im trying to hook up dual monitors it wont even recognize the original in the device manager, or that i have a monitor plugged into it. both monitors work perfectly fine in the newer card slot. any assistance would be appreciated. thank you for your time.

I just registered to play pokemon world online and every time i tried to play yesterday it said "cannot connect to pwo server please try again". i was able to get on this morning for like 10 minutes after redownloading like 10 times but once i finished the tutorial and chose to go to jhoto the game froze i restarted it and its been giving me the previous message ever since. any1 have this problem before and know a fix?

my computer recently started freezing after about 10-15 mins when i try to play games like call of duty or basically anything thats not in my browser. i tried cleaning my registry and defragging, and i tried to get rid of viruses and stuff with avast, malwarebytes, and microsoft security essentials but nothing is working.

i ran a test on systemrequirementslab.com and the only problem was my video card, it said i had enough video ram but hardware T&L pixel shader version and vertex shader version weren't good enough. do those things really matter or should i buy the game since i have enough ram?
