  • Question regarding a numbering system.?

When I was in the Army, we used a numbering system for parts, etc. where the order of the items was determined primarily by the first digit. For example,

    19

    196

    1993

    2

    26

    3

Can anyone tell me the name of this numbering system? Thanks in advance.

  • Why Are Liberals So Intent On Forcing Their Views On Everybody Else?

It seems that the liberals have little else to do other than bash the President, the Republican Party, and the way the U.S handles business as a whole. Every time I try to enter into a conversation centered around politics, the first thing I hear is that Bush is a failure, and that he's bringing the country down with the "War on Terror". It seems to me that the liberals are also upset that the President is also guided by his faith, and stands by his principles, whether popular or not. Hmmm... I'm trying to see how that can be construed as a bad thing. Lincoln was guided by his principles, and his anti-slavery stance was very unpopular at the time. Carter (the Democrats dream) was also a man of principle (and bad President) but the Dems worship these two. Can someone explain why people are devoting webspace to bashing the President? Thanks in advance for any answers I receive. I'll be awarding the best answer to a well-thought out answer, even if I don't share your opinion.
