I'd really want to have a go at making my own cartoon-like animations, but the only good software I know of is Adobe Flash and alas, I am a bit to cheap to want to pay for it. My friend suggested getting the Cinema 4D trial, but that's 3D animation (not what I'm looking for). For now I don't need anything really advanced. Thanks :)

I have big, blue eyes which I get complimented for frequently (hopefully I don't sound too braggy saying that) and just wanted to try out some new makeup ideas for bringing out my eyes. I usually wear either (1) top and bottom eyeliner, with mascara, but no eye shadow or (2) only bottom eyeliner, with mascara and light orange-ish eye shadow. I only started wearing makeup in September so I don't really know what's considered nice or not. My little sister is basically my makeup coach (she's much more experienced than me). She says that I shouldn't wear top eyeliner and eye shadow at the same time, should never have eye shadow below my eyes, and shouldn't wear bright eyeshadows like blue, green, etc.

I really would love to hear some tips from other people as to what kinds of makeup might look nice on me and whether or not my sister's advice is good or not. Thanks so much!

(And I'm 18. Just saying that since I know age determines what kind of makeup is appropriate for you. It's one of the only things I know about makeup :P )

Or are there any other requirements I should know of? I've heard from one person that the tests you need to take are based on which major you are going for. But I've also heard from several others that the tests you need to take are based on the college you will be going to. I'm not sure who's right :\ So please help me out if you can!

Say somebody wants to volunteer in a way that will help animals. That person can look up something like local animal shelters or nearby zoos. Or if someone wants to help children, he/she can look up places like nearby children's hospitals or foster homes. Now what I want is to do volunteer work in a place relating to the field of psychology. The problem is, I don't know specifically what to search for. Please mention some types of facilities which would fit what I am looking for. Thank you :)

For those of you who use iTunes, you are probably aware of the categories your songs get grouped into (albums, composers, genres, etc.) when you set your library to show your music in grid form. When you view your music in grid form to categorize it by genres, there is an image representing each genre (e.g. an image of a guitar pick represents rock, an image of a music sheet represents classical, etc.). My issue is that there is no image representing the metal category. It just shows one of the album covers within the category. I want to know if I can use one of my own pictures to represent that category. I know this isn't very important, but I'm sort of a perfectionist, so it's rather irritating to me :P

I am aware that the legendary lead vocalist of Guns n' Roses has become one of the greatest symbols of douchebaggery in music, but what I have not yet learned is what has made him be so. So what I am asking of is some examples of things he has done that have been so outrageous.

I've heard something about him being racist against Jews and Poles (the word "racist" being used out of context, but you know what I mean). Is that true?

I've heard about Carmilla but I would also like to hear about some others, if there are any. Nothing Twilight-ish please, I'm kinda tired of hearing about all these sensitive vampires ;p

In this episode, Michael dresses up in a red and black suit and makes it look like he is causing explosions by snapping his fingers.

I own an electric guitar (Ibanez). When I try to play a note on the 1st or 2nd fret (on any string) it makes this strange rattling sound. When I looked closer, it turned out that it was caused by the strings lightly touching other frets when I tried playing something on the 1st or 2nd fret. When palm muting, the rattling is the only thing you can hear. This happens when my guitar is in standard tuning. This doesn't make that big of a difference in sound when my guitar is plugged into an amp, but I still find it annoying.

I figured getting a different nut would fix it, but I wouldn't know really since I'm a beginner. If you know any other ways to fix this, please tell me. Or if I was right about getting a new nut, suggestions as to which nut I should get would be appreciated too! Thank you!

Two awesome songs I know of that have kinda an Egyptian vibe are "Creeping Death" by Metallica and "Powerslave" by Iron Maiden. If you're familiar with those songs, you ought to know what I'm looking for. Thanks.

So I know that what is meant when someone says that someone has "chemistry" with someone else, it means they are compatible with each other. But what I'm wondering is what is the background behind this saying? Does it have anything to do with hormones in the brain or something along those lines?

For a school project, I'm drawing a Native American flute with a mockingbird perched on it. What I noticed in most Native American flutes is that they have animal totems on them. What I'm wondering is: what are the totems for and is it a problem if I draw a flute without one?

It's been a year since the debut of the "Indestructible" album and they're done with their Music As A Weapon IV tour. So I'm wondering if they're thinking about a new album. I went on their website but there is absolutely nothing on the topic. So if you know anything, please share. Thanks.

All the girl vampire books like Twilight are starting to sicken me. Vampires just aren't what they used to be anymore! What are some good ones that are more aimed towards the male audience, perhaps a couple that aren't romantic. And if you can, give a brief summary of the book next to its title (and no spoilers! XD) Thanks.

My fave of the three is Three Days Grace, but I like Breaking Benjamin too, and I don't like Linkin Park.

I like bands like Disturbed and Metallica (I would say Disturbed is a bit darker, however). I like how their songs are often kinda evil-sounding. Such as "The Night", "Fear", and "Inside The Fire" by Disturbed, and "Sad But True", "All Nightmare Long", and "Master of Puppets" by Metallica. But like I said, Disturbed is a bit darker, so I'm looking for something a little closer to them.

Please refrain from:

-Things like Slayer, Slipknot, and other similar bands (those who growl throughout the lyrics)

-Emo /Screamo

-Death Metal, Black Metal, or anything else that's Satanic

-Nu metal (I know I mentioned Disturbed, but they're an exception. But if there is a band that you really wanna mention then go ahead. I generally don't like nu metal, but I did notice that it is often darker than the classic stuff.)

I went to a Home Depot recently and saw this indoor plant I really liked. I tried looking for it on their website but I couldn't find it. It had a funny trunk, it looked like it had been braided or something. The one I saw was about three feet tall, but I don't know how much more it can grow up to be. The leaves were dark green, and looked kind of like those of a Dracaena marginata.

Battle songs I like are as follows:
