I'm currently trying to create a site like http://www.wattpad.com/ but I don't have any CSS or HTML knowlege, so I'm trying to build it with Wordpress and would like to know some suggestions on plug-ins I can use that would help me better build this site so that users can upload their stories and have it posted under their profiles, ect. Any advice?

I'm trying to create a website like http://www.wattpad.com/ but I don't know any code, so I am using Elgg to build my site. My problem is, how do I make it so that when users upload their documents, it shows up on the site? How do I go about doing that?

I've done some thinking, and I really would love to create a website like http://www.wattpad.com/ and http://www.authonomy.com/ I don't know any script code, so I was thinking of just using Wordpress and/or WIx.com to help build my site. But, I really don't know where to start! So, I was wondering if someone would be able to tell me how I could start this venture. I would greatly appreciate the help, without the snide comments.

I'm writing a novel about two people finding each other after years through the internet, but I'm not exactly sure the correct grammatical approach to writing a computer conversation. Quotes? No quotes? Different font? Indention? No indention? Different size?

Does anyone know the correct way to write a computer convo?

I have a Toshiba Portege M200 that was upgraded to a Windows 7 OS. My problem is one day I tried to turn it on, and I got the "blue screen of death" on the screen. After a little tinkering with it, I got it up to the Safe Mode screen, but when I click it on safe mode, it doesn't go to the desktop, it says that I have problems and to scan the system. I did that, and now it says that the Ole32.dll file is missing. It wont load to the desktop, so I can't download the file from the internet on that laptop. I do have a computer, and I was wondering if I could download the Ole32.dll file from my working computer onto a storage disk in order to somehow transfer it to my non-working laptop. How would I go about doing that if I can? Also, if there's not a way to do that, what can I do to get the Ole32.dll file onto my laptop if it doesn't go to the desktop screen? I don't have a start up disk or a recovery disk.

I've tried Safe Mode, but the error message still comes up. I can get into repair mode, but running start up repair, system restore, or memory diagnostics doesn't work.

Due to loss of employment between my husband and I we got evicted, and instead of having our 3 children out on the streets with us, we decided to let them stay with my father (who hadn't even seen them but 1-2 times a year since they were born) until we could get back on our feet. He now has physical custody of all three of my children and my husband and I have been going on an emotional roller coaster ever since.

Sometimes my father won't answer his phone, and won't call back for 3-4 days at a time with the excuse that he doesn't have to answer his phone if he doesn't want to. We now have a home that we live in and my husband works (under the table), and this economy is so horrible I have yet to find a job.

My question is this: Does he have a right to keep us from our kids and what can we do to get them back?

8 months ago, my husband quit his job and within 2 months after that we lost our apartment. Sometime after my husband lost his job, I suppose my eldest heard me and her father talking and she got scared that she'd wind up on the streets or something so she told her teacher. Teacher called CPS and nothing bad was found, but I didn't want my kids on the streets. So, I asked my father if he could keep them until I could get back on my feet. That was March 1, 2011. He wouldn't let me stay with him, instead, I had to live on the streets for a few months. During this time he convinced me to award him physical custody, I did, but reluctantly so. (He said because my son was Autistic and he couldn't sign legal papers and stuff when/if he took my kids to the hospital) I now live in Texas with my mom, (my kids are still in Virginia). He barely lets me talk to them, and if they say something he doesn't like, he'll pop them while they're on the phone and they'll start crying for me, and then he'll hang up the phone, and won't pick it back up for days at a time.... and I can't take it any more! My kids are and have always been my life! 6 months is enough. Because my kids were "voluntarily" given up, I was told that if my dad didn't contest it, all he had to do was sign a paper and we'd be awarded our kids back (without going to court). But... if he did (and I do believe he will), we'd have to go to court.

Now, question: I have a place to stay right now, and if I were to get my kids back, my son does get a check every month for his disability that would cover rent, IF I couldn't get a job straight away, for our own place. I am REALLY close with my kids, and it's seriously killing me. He says "they're well taken care of", I agree financially, but emotionally my kids are being neglected, and that's something I WILL NOT tolerate. How can I get my kids back? They live in the state of Virginia... I know most people will try to tell me to wait it out until I have a job, but.... I miss them sooooooooo much I just can't bare another day, let alone another 6 months of my dad jerking me around like this. Someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some advice on what I can do :'(

About a week ago the police knocked on my brother's door, when his wife opened the door, the police asked my brother for his I.D. My brother didn't have an I.D., so they took him into custody and finger printed him to find out his identification. He was released the next morning and was told that CPS was called, and he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. When CPS came to his home, they took my brother's daughter out of the home and placed her with my sister in law's family. There was no sign of abuse or neglect, or even malnutrition. As of right now, they're denying him of visitation rights and saying that he needs to take a psychiatric evaluation, and attend a narcotic's anonymous and an alcoholic anonymous meeting.

I have this idea for a website, but I don't know ANYTHING about making websites. I want to make a website like http://www.wattpad.com/ and http://www.authonomy.com/ but I don't know where to start... besides getting a domain name. I was wondering if anyone have any suggestions on creating websites like these two I listed.

I was wondering if you could read my story and tell me what you thought about it, and if you like it, share it with your friends. It's three chapters so far (a work in progress), but they're broken down in half, 2,500 words a piece. I would like to publish it when it's finished, but I want to see what people think about it first. Okay, so the problem is that my son lost my disc 1 for my Adobe CS4 and scratched and lost 3 discs from Adobe CS3 that I had. I still have the product code numbers for both of these 2 softwares, so I figure if I download the trial versions of them then I could just put my product numbers in them and I should get the full versions. I don't care which one... just one of them would be fine. I don't want the p2p versions of them, I would much rather prefer to download them from the Adobe website, but all I see is the trials for CS5 (which I never had, and I don't want just the trial versions of them). I had the master suite for CS3 and CS4, but if you can only find the individual softwares I just want to download Flash Professional, Photoshop, After Effects, and Soundbooth for CS3 or CS4. Please help me :(

I have this problem. I have recently been hooked on the Chipmunks for some reason, don't ask me why... But my problem is...Which Chipette is the eldest? I've heard Brittany, Jeannette, Eleanore...but I have also heard it Jeannette, Eleanore, Brittany....and everything in between. We chipmunk fans all know that the chipmunks from oldest to youngest is Alvin, Simon, Theodore...but would their girlfriends be in that order too? Best answer goes to the person with a credible link.
