When I'm at the gym - a few guys seem to brush me off or not talk to me (but I DO see them glancing at me frequently). This one guy who's barely 18 (I'm 29) turned away ignorantly when I held the door open for him. I DID NOT do anything to these guys. Even in my family, cousins' husbands or boyfriends do not actively talk to me. It may take months for them to be friendly. I'm confused.

Eighteen years ago, I was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. Around the same time, I did horrible in math and reading. And very often forgot directions and was very unorganized. And I got horrible job reviews after college - yet people said I was 'a positive person'.

NOW, studies show these disorders often go hand in hand. This all makes sense to me. But I'm confused as to how they are related.

I was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome including related disorders like OCD, etc., 19 years ago.

The problems is, when I tell some friends that I see a psychiatrist and take medication, they tell me:

"Tourette Syndrome isn't real.... You don't have it.... Don't buy into those syndromes and disorders"

They think it's all psychological and not biological (which it is). My brain is physically wired to act this way. Their ignorance makes me upset.

Have the events in the latest movie have changed all previous Star Trek history?

If so, that means they can start from scratch (Shatner may even be in the next film).

I'm in my late 20s and I really like Santa Barbara. Thinking about living there for a bit. Maybe at least a couple of years. Or even a few.

Taking some time off work and wanted to know if a 27 year old guy (me) would enjoy some time in San Diego or LA... I like to go out and want to see sites. Haven't been to either.

I think my friend's friend is very attractive and I've told him so. He's 'straight' and has a girlfriend, but a while back he came with my friend to my hotel room at 2AM to hang out. He knows that I like him - but why would a 'straight' guy hang out with two gay guys so late at night?

Just saw the trailer. It looks very... 'Hollywood'. They have a lot of action shots and that Medieval music chant in the background. I hope it's better than XMEN 3.

Sometimes I think most 'Mexican' Americans think Mexican is a race.

The majority of you are Mestizo. Just because you have brown skin and speak Spanish doesn't mean you are Mexican. (this applies to American citizens)

Is it me or does it seem like Wall E's design is a rip off of Johnny 5? And the voice is Gizmo's from Gremlins?

The general public is oblivious to this...too bad creativity isn't very active right now. Ugh. And of course this movie will make millions.........off of someone else's creative output. 20 + years ago.

Why do people think he's Mexican? He's not. He just uses that for making money. He was born in So Cal. I hate it when people call someone Mexican just because they are dark and speak with a slight accent. He wishes he was a real Mexican.

I believe that in a few years, people won't be as emotionally driven to be associated with the status symbols luxury cars encompass. Do you think the want to be pretentious will fade away while gas prices rise and other economic problems grind away our finances?

It seems like smaller towns are being sculpted into similar landscapes by "big box" stores. It's like someone took a stamp and went crazy with Wal-marts, Targets, Applebee's, Best Buy's, Home Depots, and Starbucks. It's sad to see.

It's sad that people glorify food that's not even made by a "loving touch."

Very techno beat. The one I want to know about sounds like a young group of girls i.e. Destiny's Child. and they repeat the words,

"What's up. What's up. What's up." Fast paced, dance floor song.

Please let me know. It may be Exscape. but it came out only last fall.
