If you check out Office 2007 Pro, all the programs look pretty cool. I'm a Mac user and even I am shocked at how good they look. But what I can't figure out is why Publisher is incomplete. Outlook, Word, Excel, InfoPath, PowerPoint, and even Access are "pimped" out with a new look. But Publisher looks like crap. Nothing has changed (as far as appearance). As a timid Microsoft hater, I think the answer is they split all the engineers into groups and as a result, you can see who's the best designers. Actually, after using Office for MAC, I think they put the Mac people on Office 07 (at least for design) but they left publisher out. But seriously, if anyone knows why Publisher was left out of the "new look" I would love to know.
