I have a compaq desktop pc it has windows 98. yes i know old/out dated. but it's mainley used by my daughter. she is 10. the prob is she accidentley deleted the sound file. and hp or compaq does not have a driver. out of date they say. im wondering. is there a free data/file recovery program i can download to recover my wave sound file? and if there is. after file is recovered. how do i reinstall it. any help would be great. i checked and a complete os reboot is around $100.00 and up. no i do not have a 98 boot disc. any advise. serious replys only. thank you.

I get dr watson errors. dr watson will NOT let me download anything. the download window will open. start the download process. but when d l is complet. a dr watson error comes up. saying error. not part of dr watson program. how can i fix this. when i cant download a damn thing, help please.
