i have a formula (y=Xsquared+5x+3) and when i graph it's a simple U shape

i need to find a formula that results in the same shape, but a higher/lower vertex

I can't find all of my music on my old computer's hard drive. is there any way i can just plug in my ipod to my new computer? i don't want to risk losing all of my music. any help is great, i'm using itunes 7.5

i just went to my doctor yesterday; she said that i had an outer ear infection/swimmers ear. my ear really hurts when it's touched. it is really clogged now and i can barely hear out of it. the joint in my jaw where my ear is really hurts too. i can open it pretty easily but i can't close it. it hurts too much to chew. it's hard for me to sleep, and if i do, i wake up expecting to see blood on my pillow because the inside of my ear hurts so bad. it feels like someone punched the left side of my face. when i had an ear infection a couple of weeks ago, i took eardrops and it went away (the eardrops were clogging my ear). my jaw wasn't an issue then. now i'm taking different eardrops and my ear is extremely clogged and my the joint of my jaw is in a lot of pain.

my doctor claims i have swimmers ear. i don't know if this description exactly fits, but does anyone have any ideas what else this could be and why i'm in so much pain?

i'm 15 y.o if that helps

the doc didn't really go into it that much. i think my case is minor if she said it was only 5 degrees. anyway, should i be more careful about lifting heavy objects and having myself or my friends crack my back?

i just got it today, when i plugged it into my computer the screen popped up and said it only had 3.68gb before i put any music on it.
