Dad is 82 - a WWII veteran. He recently had surgery on his back and now cannot walk. He is in a wheelchair, needs assitance in getting in and out of it, and lives with another elderly person. He needs to get to Doctor's appointments on a regular basis but his General Motors insurance does not cover it. Does anyone know if the Veterans Administration or Medicaid covers getting a WWII, wheelchair-bound veteran to and from the hospital and/or doctors appointments?

Where has Republican Leadership gone? Why aren't they fighting democrats with the same tactics the democrats use. Have they just given up and it's every man/woman for themselves? Will McCain's non-confrontational approach work this year?

If Baseball needs investigated by Congress due to Steroids, why isn't Hollywood investigated for its overuse of drugs. More Hollywood actors/actresses have OD'd than Baseball players, plus actors/actresses also are held up as heros by our youth. Why doesn't the Screen Actors' Guild have to go through random drug testing?

The Federal government (Army Corps of Engineers) says I need a Nationwide Permit (42) to build a small pond on a stream on my property. I have read in the Clean Water Act where small ponds for stocked fishing are exempt; and that this stream running through my property does not even qualify as "Waters of the United States." Yet, they insist on going through this permit process. I feel like I am living in a police state where you have to get permission from the local, county, state or federal government to do anything. How can I stop this insanity???????

they share a bathroom and it was over "moved shampoo",, the daughter that was scratched worst left and will not come back w/her two children untill the other daughter has been kicked out. She said she was just asking not to move her shampoo, but the other daughter was in her room. with the door shut, with her visiting husband, on leave from the army, when she knocked and told her not to move her shampoo. Words were exchanged and a cat/scratch fight insured. As the mother, who was not home at the time, should I kick out the daughter that got the better scratches in to the daughter that has the two children. I miss my grandchildren. This is tearing my family apart.
