right now im a journalist. im thinking of expanding my career into corporate world. i ws offered to be a corporate comm manager. among the tasks said are planning event, writing a report abt the event for the upper management, writing news n publishing it in an internal magazine. fyi, im a laid back person n doesnt talk much unless needed (work n socializing). do u think im fit for the corporate comm position? how different is the work load compare to a journalist job? i knw tht all jobs are not easy, but compare this two, which one is easier?

im going to resign from my job soon. the office is checking on my attendance. but there are so many days that they found i was not around based on the swiped card record. my office use card that we have to swipe at the door to record our attendance. i dont think im not around that much!! help! how can i prove them wrong?

Im using Hewlett Packard laptop. Recently, I wanted to watch DVD using my laptop, but the sound never came out. When I checked, the sound for Windows application also never came out. Just two days before, the sound is still there. What could it be wrong here? Ive done all the troubleshooting listed in the Help option. Please help. Thanks.

Her brother is a stable person in terms of money-wise and emotional-wise and will not try to break with his gf since he's already too old to find a new girl. They've tried so many things to make their mom approve the relationship.

He did bring his gf to meet his mom, but his mom totally shut his gf off. His mom would jst stay in her room and didnt even talk to his son's gf. Recently, the brother brought his gf again to meet her mom since recently too, his mom seemed to approve the wedding. But, when the girl came, his mom straight away go out from the house using the back door and refused to see his gf. They've also tried to give gifts to the mom (without telling its frm the girl), but she seemed to knw that the gifts wr from the girl and as always, refuse to accept it.

I'm going to an interview for editorial position in an international people-lead company.. the company produce newsletter about finance n business related articles. so i guess im going to handle that publication.

what do u usually ask on an interview like this with a company like this?..

What I mean is the signs of autism are known only when the adults realized that they have the symptoms when they turned into adults.

Like myself, I always think that I have one, cus I dont usually make eye contact with people, cant bear people looking at me while im doing things or when im talking, I dont talk alot like other people who seems to have evrything to talk about. And also, Im a little slow in grasping certain concepts or stories. Or are these just a symptoms of low self esteem or introvert personality?

But, btw, im a masters holder in mass communication (journ). how oxymoron is that?.. but seriously and frankly, i dont talk alot, but i can write.
