  • council tenancies and married people.?

My wife and I have been married for 26+ years and for the last 14 or so years we have lived in a rented council bungalow. We are in a bungalow as she suffers from a slight but not incapacitating disability. We are 48 and 49yrs old and our 25yr old son has recently left home.

The tenancy is actually in my wifes name due to Doncaster Councils letting policies and my name only appears upon our annual council tax bill however, I am registered as living here for electoral and housing benefit purposes.

In the past few years I have noticed that things are not at all equal between us and I have been suffering a ;lot of, what I feel is negative and unneccesary, verbal abuse, threats and defamatory and insulting treatment from her. She vigorously controls our finances to the point where I have to beg for anything, new clothes, or anything. she will contantly yell and swear at me, she will insult me intimidate me. she socially isolates me and treats me as a child. I have recently discovered that the term used for this behaviour is "Emotional Abuse".

This abuse has become out of control of late and has has a deteriorating effect on both of us and now I am seriously concerned that things may escalate to a point where one or both of us becomes at risk.

What are my housing rights with me not being an actual tenant? Am I entitled to have her removed from the house if I feel threatened or will the fact that she is the tenant take precedence over any concerns I may have.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

  • side effects of prescription medication?

Hi folks and, thank you for taking time out to read this.

My wife is 48 (I am 49), we have been married for 26 years.

At present, my wife is prescribed various medicines from our family G.P. for some health concerns.

For some time now I have noticed a marked change in her, i'm not going to be specific but these changes are very obvious to me however it seems, not to her.

I have researched her medications and their interactions with each other, not just from one subjective website but from pharmacological sites, independent sites and those sites which draw from patient experience. The result is that I feel I have a wide view of the general possibilities based upon the evidence provided.

I know that everyones experiences differ and would appreciate a little input so that i'm sure that I am as objective as possible!!

    Her dailyintake at present is as follows;

    Lyrica (pregaballin) 150mg x 4

    amitriptaline (?) 50mg x 2

    Tramadol 50mg x4

    Ramipril 2.5mg x 1

    Orlistat 120mg with food

As well as various paracetamol as required.

I would like to hear from others taking a similar cocktail of prescribed meds, particularly their experiences of ANY side effects you may have experienced.

I appreciate that I may seem a bit vague but if I specified all the things that worry me then it would be really easy for a whole load of people to say, "oh yes, that was me, I had that" etc, and end up with people just basically agreeing with everything stated.

Every med has a possible side effect I understand that and I know that mixing drugs can be very dangerous both physically and psychologically and I am very worried.

Any info is welcomed and I appreciate the fact that you have taken the time outy to read this.

    Thank you.

  • anyone know of any agents for tv extras that don't charge you to register? thanks.?

You don't pay employment agencies when you're looking for a job so why the hell should entertainment impresario's (so called) charge you especially if they claim they are that good?? S if anyone knows of any good agencies i'd appreciate the info. Thank you all.

  • fetishes and kinkiness?

we have all got kinks!!! mine is ladies in tights or stockings and heels etc. What's yours? and, when does a kink become a fetish? and, just because we have the odd (safe/moral/legal!!) sexual nuance (kink or fetish) does that mean we are sexual degenerates or worse?
