I have an iPhone 4S with Verizon, and I'd like to start planning for when the 5 comes out. I know there's a way to get an upgrade "approved" so that you can upgrade to the newest iPhone for the 2 year contract price ($199). How does this work? How do I get an upgrade approved/find out if I'm eligible?

I want to buy Green Day's "Oh Love" single off their new album. I'm wondering if I buy it, will I be able to pre-order the album at a discounted price since I've already bought that song? Or will I have to buy the album at full price still?

I know you need gold in order to play matchmaking on all online games, but I'm planning to play Borderlands 2 through online co-op with a friend, and I was wondering if I need Xbox Live Gold in order to play online with a friend or if just Silver will do.

I used to pre-order all of my games with Amazon thanks to their amazing 99 cent release date delivery shipping. I always got my games on release day without having to pick them up in store. Now, however, Amazon has stopped offering their 99 cent release date delivery, and I don't want to pay $8 on two-day shipping to get my games on release date, which is their only option now.

However, I'd also rather not have to go in to GameStop to pick up my games. So what online retailers do you use to pre-order your games from that offer cheap (or free) release date delivery shipping?

SORRY IT'S LONG, PLEASE READ!!

I am 15, I'm a Freshman in high school. There's a girl I really like. We're pretty good friends and we've known each other since the beginning of eighth grade. We don't hang out outside of school much (and never unless in a group), but we talk and laugh and joke a lot when we are around each other at school, though I've never gone out of my way to find her and she hasn't with me either. I sometimes notice what I hope is her taking a quick peek at me during our mutual class, but I can't be sure. She laughs at my jokes but laughs at other guy's jokes too, but she talks to me more than the other guys in our mutual class.

We've been texting a lot lately, like every other day on average for the past week or so. She first started texting me about homework but both times it turned into a long conversation that lasted a couple hours. I've texted her three times since and we've had long conversations every time. She hasn't initiated a conversation with me (sent the first text) in like five days now. She usually responds fairly quickly and with fairly long texts, and she keeps the conversations going with me. Just tonight when I was texting her she began to give me short answers (not like "yes" and "No", but short sentences and sometimes long one-word answers like "exactly") so I ended the conversation because I didn't want to annoy her. Usually after our conversations we will say goodnight and/or goodbye, and she gives me smiley faces and exclamations marks but not in every text.

Does it sound like she likes me, is it too hard to say, is it likely/unlikely? Is it a bad sign that she hasn't been initiating texting conversations? Is it a bad sign that she seemed to begin to lose interest in our last conversation, or is it just me? Please, help! I really want to ask her out but I'm worried if she says no it'll just be awkward and I at least want to be friends...

I've got an expected delivery of tomorrow the 5th, and am planning on playing it as soon as it arrives, but I've got a question for all you guys out there who are lucky enough to already be playing...is the game's performance noticeably and significantly better after install to the point where I should install the game before I start playing, or would it be fine to just play uninstalled for the first day and then install after my initial insane hype is gone?

I've had Rage for 360 pre ordered for almost two months now and I'm biting my nails in anticipation for its release on Tuesday....but something has me worried. The games Dark Souls and NBA 2K12, which both also release on Tuesday, have already had some critic reviews come in but Rage has none. Does this mean that id has placed a review embargo on the game due to avoid negative buzz on launch day, or is it just because companies haven't had enough time to review the game yet? I'm worried for my #1 anticipated game of the year, I need answers!!!

I'm 14, a Freshman, and there's a girl in my English class who I think is really cute. I don't know her very well (or basically at all, other than a couple brief exchanges for the class) but I really want to get to know her...but here's the thing. Probably five years ago my mom was teaching a yoga class. I was in it and (I'm 99% sure) so was she. Same name and I recognize her. So should I approach her and say something like "Hey, [girl's name], I might be wrong and it probably sounds silly but I think I know you!" or should I just talk to her like I've never met her before? I really want to get to know her soon because Homecoming is approaching and I don't have a date...so please help!

I'm really interesting in the book "The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks, but before I pick it up I'd like to know what the genre of the book is. I've heard it categorized as "humor" and "horror" on the same page, and these are both rather vague descriptions and a bit conflicting when combined (I know there are plenty of horror comedies, I just mean that "humor" is a bit of a strange genre).

I pre-ordered Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II off of Amazon with release date delivery. Last time I got release date delivery, it was for Halo: Reach, and it shipped at noon the day before it came out. But now it's almost 8pm the day before Force Unleashed II comes out and it still says "shipping soon". will it get here tomorrow???

I bought a used copy of Alan Wake for Xbox 360 at GameStop yesterday. I heard that the first DLC is free for those who bought the game new. However, the used copy of the game that I purchased has the token-redeeming card still inside. The code has not been torn open yet. Does this mean that whoever opened it before did not redeem the code, and I will still be able to get the first DLC for free?

I downloaded the Reach beta and now I'm on the matchmaking screen, but the playlist has been loading for like ten minutes. Anyone know why?

I have ODST and the Halo 3 multiplayer disc, as well as xbox live gold. I'm trying to get the ODST armor. I have 6 experience, have played ten games, have reached the rank of Private, but it still hasn't given me the "Spartan Graduate" achievement along with the ODST helmet... anyone know why or how I can fix this problem?
