What's his psychological disorder?
He is half-Filipino, half-white, and a super small percentage of Native American. He has a white mom who has her own white family, and a Filipino dad who has his own family. And now he's nearly 30 years old.
I am his 5 year long Vietnamese-American born girlfriend. And I am concerned with his recent behaviors. We moved from Oregon to Oklahoma. He is very well-mannered and professional at his work place. And when he is home, he can be a good man, but at times not.
I want to know if he has a psychosis.
I think it's normal for a man to show he's upset, disappointed with his girlfriend when he is. But lately, on weekends, he flies off the handle. He rages- complains about things by yelling in my face, insults me, and every few months he throws something against the floor/wall. He makes really strong ties between someone's behaviors, lifestyle, and preferences...to their ancestor's way of life and genetics.. instead of their own current environment/cultural bring-up (disregards it completely). You see... He is paranoid of his co-workers- like they have something against him- he says that some of them left their jobs as soon as he told them he was going on vacation in Vietnam with me. He told me it's my fault- that nobody likes him because of me. So I think he's making no sense and sounds crazy. I don't think it's crazy for him to be dissatisfied with me, but his behavior and thought patterns are concerning. They're abnormal. This wasn't the only time he made weird connections.
1 AnswerMental Health6 years agoHow to save and invest for retirement?
I'm 23, working for $12,000 a year (hopefully not for life) ... and I want to save and invest for retirement, but I do not receive 401 K or anything from my workplace. I can put aside money in my bank account, but I would like to know of other options... someone told me I can put my money into a certain place... and get more money for doing so. What are you doing for retirement? What's the best thing I can do?
5 AnswersInvesting7 years agoShould I buy a new/er car?
I own a 2001 Toyota Corolla after buying it from another owner. It had 130,000 miles on by the time the engine's gasket cap blew during my road trip from Oregon to Oklahoma in summer- so I had the engine replaced. Since then, the new engine's accumulated around 50,000 miles. It does require an oil fill-up or change every 3-5 months, but it's not such a significant or expensive problem- I don't think. My income is real low- $11,000 a year. A dealer told me that based on my income, and no credit establishment, I'd have to save up $1200 for down-payment if I wanted a new car with a warranty. But that would take years to come up with. If I wanted to pay less downpayment, I'd have to get a used preowned car (with no warranty) which will have more than 100,000 miles on it- to fit my budget... However, that is worse than my current car's mileage.. It takes me over 1 hour to get from my workplace to my house ONE WAY, driving at mostly 65-70 MPH.. and I will have to do that for several more months.** I want to know if I should prioritize saving for an auto inspection of my current car's condition- to see if I can keep my car... versus saving up for a downpayment for a new car.. ** Although I had my engines replaced, the engine infrastructure is as old as the car itself.. that's why I want to have the car inspected. (Not sure how much it costs or who provides this service) I also know that the fluid level's okay... I know my steering wheel is shaky- and I saved up enough for a new pair of tires. But I don't want to fix those minor issues if my car needs inspection. Please give advice! Any kind. THANKS SO MUCH
3 AnswersBuying & Selling7 years agoI can't afford a car and need to finish school?
I live by myself. I can't afford a car, but I need one to finish college. I live in a small town where there's no public transportation. My current car is not running properly. And I'm SO close to finishing college- so close to graduating with a decent paying career.. but now I have to get another car. It will take me 5 years to pay off a car because I only make $11,000 a year... and that means my class credits will expire by the time the car is paid off. I will be almost 30 before I get to start school ALL OVER again. I don't have family or friends support- they live far away- I am completely on my own.. and I don't know what to do. Is there any way I can get a car and still have the money and time to go to school??
4 AnswersBuying & Selling7 years agoFiance doesn't want me to finish college?
My fiancé has a good career, earning over $40,000 a year- and will eventually make up to $80,000 as he advances. We both went to college together- and he just happens to be older- and graduated before I got to. We moved out of state for His job relocation- so I never got to finish college. I ended up working as a dental assistant- and still am, earning $11 an hour... equivalent to $14,000 a year or less. I want to finish school, but he is persistent that he will not support me financially- and therefore hopes I just continue working like I am for life. If I were to end up in a 2 year full-time career program, he won't help me with living expenses. He said I should think of buying a newer car instead of prioritizing school- but my old car isn't THAT busted.- I just got an engine replacement.. and if I did try buying a new car with my lowly salary, it would prevent me from going to school, because I'd have to continue working full-time to pay it off. Is this a healthy relationship? Where a man isn't concerned about my salary??
16 AnswersWeddings7 years agoCan you identify this sea creature?
On an Oregon coastal beach, I found a tiny, slim fish (no more than an inch and a half) washed up shore.. colored teal, red, and maybe a hint of white or silver. Kind of like this toothpaste tube: http://modinaenterprise.com/wp-content/gallery/all...

1 AnswerBiology8 years agoWhy are zeros not significant numbers if they are before other digits and after the decimal?
For example, 0.0038 mg has only 2 significant figures. Why can't those zeros be significant? They seem pretty darn important, significant figures to me... they're needed and CERTAIN as much as the 3 and 8. So WHY??
1 AnswerMathematics9 years agoWhy does my Army boyfriend kiss me on the cheek every morning particularly when leaving for Army drills?
He's in the Army reserves. I just think it odd that whenever he gets up early in the morning for a monthly drill to dress in his uniform, pack up a towel and Army fitness clothes... Then he would kiss my cheek before leaving. I'd be in bed wondering why he doesn't kiss me on the cheek any other kind of day. Why does he do that?

I don't understand how the formula, (a-b) (a^2 + 2ab + b^2), explains WHY it's the formula used to factor x^3 - 27y^3
If you were never given that formula to begin with, how would you go about in explaining how to get the correct result?

3 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoHelp me Obtain Birth Control Pills?
Planned Parenthood sells birth control pills, right? I am eighteen years old and live with my parents. They don't want me to be sexually active, but I don't want to wait until after graduating from college as they insist. My parents have me on their family insurance plan. Does that stop me from getting birth control pills and other forms of contraceptives, without them knowing, from Planned Parenthood?

5 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoHydrogen Powered Cars (and Nuclear Powered Cars)?
Two different types of hydrogen powered cars:
1.) hydrogen is burned like fuel
2.) hydrogen produces electricity in a fuel cell.
Which of the two could/does use nuclear power?
Are either of them explain how "nuclear powered cars" work? Or are nuclear powered cars completely different?
A really thorough explanation would be extremely nice. Not much of a car-person, you see. Make sure to answer all three if you can!
