I'm having an argument with a friend. She had sex with her boyfriend, unprotected although he did not come, close to the time when she should start her period. She could start any day, however her cycles are irregular so determining ovulation is difficult. But what our argument stems from is this question: if she were to have sex a few days before her period, could she become pregnant? If she were pregnant, since conception would be so close to her period, would she still menstruate? If she were to get pregnant and menstruate, would the egg be flushed out with the uterus lining? Doctors, nurses, and smart people in general, help us out here!

My grandmother gave me this china plate. It's got an irregular shape and gold trim. I would like to know if anyone recognizes it and if they know if its handpainted or not

I need an idea. I have to make an infographic for class, but I have no idea what to do it over! Something that could be made slightly humorous would always be good, but anything ideas I could use on what to make an infographic over would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I've been slimming up, which is kind of hard since I'm a semi picky eater. I don't like a lot of vegetables, especially raw. Anyone have any good, easy low fat recipes? :)

Any tips on how to memorize rocks? :/ and what is the main, distinguishing visual factor between a rock and a mineral? I will have to identify 25 random samples tomorrow. Any tips are appreciated!

twizzlers have no fat, but they do have a lot of sugar and carbs....will these make me gain weight, or are they a safe, no fat snack to satisfy my sweet tooth?

Hi everyone. I have always been an athlete in great shape. Since I turned down my college scholarships, I haven't really worked out much and I've gained about 10-15 pounds over the last 3 years. I know it's not a lot, but in three weeks I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding and well, my arms and back don't look so great. I would also like to work on my stomach. I know you have to work out, etc, but does anyone know any good health shakes or anything? I am kind of a picky eater and need something that actually takes good. Is there a good weight loss food program anyone knows of? I need to trim up in about 3 weeks! I didn't realize it was this bad until I put the dress today :/
