That's the card...

I read a bunch of reviews of people saying they could run Crysis on maxed settings with this card, however, I can only run the game with everything but shaders, shadows, textures, and objects at very high. Shadows is medium, shaders, textures and objects are at high. I am running with 8x AA, and at the resolution 1680x1050. My FPS with these settings range from 20-35 in outdoor environments, and indoor goes above 60. However my average is under 25 FPS, and it is sticky, and bothersome. I have 2800mb of shared VRAM, and my game uses anywhere from 1200-1800mb...

Do you guys have any idea what's wrong? I did try without AA, and it was above 30 FPS, but the edging really bothered me, I'd prefer to have AA... Is there possibly something wrong with my card? Maybe the settings in Crysis? Are there any optimizations I need to do, files I need to change? Help me out :)

I come up to the character creation screen... The menu for creating the character is there, but the character model isn't, all I see is a blue background. And if I hit create character, I still have a blue background, nothing is seen except the blue, and my hud. I can enter my menus and walk around, but I don't see anything, where I am walking, etc.

I have more than enough system resources to play this game, do I need to run it in compatibility mode for XP? Or is there something else wrong?

a different computer?

I have about 45% of the mod Project Reality downloaded, but my laptop which it was being DL'ed on will be away for a few days, and I wanted to continue the DL on my PC, that way I don't have to restart.

I want some hard details like, this game has the best textures, grass, etc. Not some, well i tinhk dat duh game uhh halo3 bczus its on 360 and it pwnz ps3.

So other than Crysis, what games have the best graphics right now? If you could make a list, that'd be even better.

Just what the question says, this guy is unrealistically good, especially in long range. He gets most his kills from over 50m with MP40 or Thompson.

Would a bullet from a small arms gun penetrate the wing of an aircraft? Or would the bullet get stuck in the metal? Is the wing armored? Would the bullet hole (if there is one), or the bullet stuck in the wing itself alter the steering, aerodynamics, etc. of the aircraft?

This is just to help me sleep at night better, I'm a very curious guy, hehehe.

I need to do this because my 5 1/2 year old sister put a deep scratch in my first disk of Star Wars: Jedi Academy, and now it isn't readable. I still have the second disk but I need to download an .iso of the first disk so I can play the game. How long will this take to burn? 1 hour? 5 mins?

I forget the name of the cable. The input to it has the 16-32 holes, if you could also tell me the name of that cable I would be happy.

The reason I'm asking is because I'm at a hotel, I brought my PS3, and the TV doesn't have inputs. So I have a lappy here, and I thought maybe I could connect the two with that cable. It seems unlikely to me, but if I brought the console, it would be a waste of time, space, and happiness if I don't try all I can do to hook it up. ;)
