for you or your husband/wife?

Mine was one Winter when we had a lot of snow, then it rained and that night the roads and sidewalks became thick with ice and really slippery.

My husband and I and another couple went out and when we walked back to our car, my husband and our friends went to the car ahead of me and waited in the car for me to join them.

I wasn't wearing the right kind of shoes to walk on ice and I was having a lot of trouble keeping my balance. My friends were in the back seat of the car talking and not paying any attention to what was happening and my husband wasn't either. He looked over and saw I was only a few feet away from the car, then he looked away. I fell on the ice, slid off the curb and into the gutter next to the car. In the process I had badly sprained my ankle.

A few seconds later my husband looked to see what was taking me so long and I was gone! He thought where did she go so fast. He rolled down the window and called out my name. I called out, "I've fallen and I can't get up!" My friend in the back seat opened the back door of the car and saw my legs next to the car and said, "girl, what are you doing laying in the gutter on a night like this?"

I could have died! I don't know what was worse, my embarrassment and humiliation or the pain in my ankle.

My friend and I both have smiley central. When I send her a smiley she can see it. When she sends me one, I only see a code and it tells me someone has sent me a smiley. I have checked and Smiley Central says I am already downloaded. What could be the problem? Why can I send, but not receive smileys?
