How long after my dog has shots...?
So I'm giving shots to my female dog who just had puppies 7 weeks ago. I was told that she can't be nursing, but can be lactating if I give her the shots. She isn't really nursing- the puppies are weaned, but the puppies do try to latch onto her every now and then. How long do I need to keep her away from the puppies after giving her shots before it would be safe for them if they did latch on and nurse?
