My surge protector has two lights. red (protected) and green (grounded). When I first bought it, both lights were on. I unplugged it once to move things around and plugged it back in and the green light won't turn on. I've unplugged and replugged it numerous times and still has the same outcome. the red light is still on so it is protecting.

My question is how can I get my surge protector to be grounded? also, I really do not know what grounding means.

For example: the Music, Videos, Documents, Photos.

Its on the C: drive, but I want to move them to the D: drive (DATA).

How do I do it if i can?

My desktop recently crashed and I bought a new laptop. I need to transfer the data from the hard drive and transfer it to my laptop's hard drive. What is the easiest and cheapest way to do it?

I want to use only Mozilla Firefox, and I want to get rid of Internet Explorer. I try to uninstall it in the the uninstall programs and doesn't have it listed. I also check on the program files folder and try to delete it, wont let me. I cant even find an uninstall icon in the folder.

Its taking up unneeded space. Why can't I take it off?

I want to used my 1080p TV as a monitor for my desktop computer. I'm wondering if i need a special graphics card in order to use it without screwing up my computer. I have the basic factory graphics card. Has both VGA and DVI ports. My TV has a VGA port in it as well. I also have a DVI to HDMI cord. Since my graphics card isn't necessarily HD compatible. could I use my TV or what port i should use?

I have a friend who downloaded the free version of Lord of the Rings Online as did I. My computer works fine with the game. He installed it the same way I did and his monitor blacks out saying "auto detect(analog input) Entering Power Save Mode". He can only play the game for 40 seconds. He tried setting the resolution to the same settings as me and still didn't work. He does have a nice graphics card if that's needed. He says it only does this when he plays this game. We both have Dell computers and Dell monitors.

Why will it work fine on my computer and not on his? please help.

PS: my computer has a worse graphics card too.

From what you've seen from trailers and gameplay, Which do you people think is better, I'm not talking about COD or BF fans, actual reasons. Personally, I'm leading towards Battlefield 3.

Graphics look better, looks more intense. MW3 in my opinion just looks like an expansion to Modern Warfare 2.

I tried to download the 3.3.0 patch of world of warcraft and my computer detected a malware file in the blizzard downloader. how can i get rid of it and still play the game?

I recently got 2 male betta fish, each in different tanks but next to each other. one acts normal, but the other stays at the top of the tank where the water meets the air and rarely swims. he isn't eating. i have only had him for about a week. whats wrong and what should i do?

I try and upload videos and music onto my psp, but when i do, the screen that has my psp data on my computer justs quit and disappears, and on my psp it says please wait, and stay's in that screen. then i go and find the video and/or song, it says corrupt data. please help me!!!

Note: I put my videos in MP4 format, so that cant be a problem and my music is MP3.

I have a 8g. 3rd generation ipod nano, but im wanting a 8g. ipod touch. should i trade it, and if so where can i trade or get a discount, etc. at? i hear you can do more things on the touch than you can on the nano. it has been out for a while so it shouldn't have thjat much bigs on it plus the price dropped.

When i try and export the file into a mp3 format, i works fine, then i get to the lame message dialog box, i have it installed and i reinstalled it after this happened.   then an error came up.

When i play World of Warcraft, recently, like a few days to present, my computer starts making a continous beeping noise, sounds like a siern from a london police car.

when i quit from the game, it stops beeping.

note: i tried to install it on another computer, and my anit-virus program detected a Trojoan Horse on the install disk, and wouldn't allow it to install it, but on the one with the beeping noise it let me install it.

I'm trying to install World of Warcraft onto my computer, i have it installed on another computer, but that shouldn't matter, you dont need a serial number.

when i click on the icon in the "My Computer", it says: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropiate permission to access the item." with the code" D:\ " as the title on the message.

I tried downloading the game on the website but when its downloading, it says:" Failed to download World of Warcraft Trial. please try again." and i do it over and over and it still said the same thing.

I want to take off lyrics so there is only the beat and music, no words. how do i remove the lyrics?

I have the old model of the psp and i have had it for like 2-3 years. i dropped it and now my speakers won't work, when i plug in my headphones, it works, but with out the phones, no sound comes out.

is there any way to fix it or do i have to get a professional to do it? please help.

Do you think its a waste of money manufactoring these awesome planes? these planes rule, but i dont think we need to be spending so much billions of money making and testing these things and spend more on our current aircraft.
