So my boyfriends brother has been with his babies mother for about 3 1.2 years now and last year his brother had to get married due to needing FMLA. we were not invited to this for reason that is unknown to this day. since his brother has been with her he has taken a step back from his mother father and brother. we all understand that sometimes guys have to do what they have to do for his immediate family but i wish there was a better compromise. so now that a year has passed they have decided to do a real wedding with bridesmaid, groomsmen...ect. but we found out today that they are having their wedding in sept and invited all other family besides us (mother, father, my boyfriend and me). my question is how do i accept this way of life? i mean i know there is no way to change these things or change his mind so how as a family do we get use to the missing family members. we don't get to see him his wife or their daughter. any advise on this would be appreciated.
