i was half-awake this morning when i heard a song that caught my attention on Life of Ryan, but i don't know what it is.

it was playing in the background while he was mini-golfing with his friends before he left for a trip to Texas or something like that? i'm not sure, it was the first time i'd seen the show.

all i caught was these two lines:

"and the next ten people" and

"where are your friends now?"

i tried googling these but got no luck, and when i checked the Life of Ryan website, it told me that MTV.com is down for repairs.

the song has male vocals and i'm not sure what genre to put it under, but it is not rap/hip hop/R&B or country. it had a different kind of sound that's been stuck in my head most of the day.

i know this isn't a lot of info, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

do they get a warning about it at all?

I have some audio files that say they are .m4a files, but they will not play in Windows Media Player of itunes. Does anyone know where i can download a free program where i can convert them to, say, mp3 or wma files, or anything like that?

The one i remember most is from the episode when Jon Heder was host, and he and Amy Poehler did a skit where they were fourth graders in their class science fair, talking about bugs. Horatio Sanz was a guy named Rick that was somehow related to Amy's character. It cracks me up every time :)

I was told that you can get still shots from videos on YouTube with that button by just pressing it when the video got to the part you want to save, but that's not working for me. Does anyone have any idea about this?

Ok, i know that the song was written about a boy that the lead singer worked with who was an alcoholic and drug addict. But i keep seeing people here on answers say that the boy the song was written about commited suicide, and the last i heard, the boy was still alive. Can anyone provide a source that says he died? I just want to know what ended up happening, i love the song and the story behind it so much.
