Get help with reaction mechanisms with "A Guide to Organic Chemistry Mechanisms" at http://www.curvedarrowpress.com . I worked in industry as a chemist and then taught organic chemistry at the college level for 6 years. I used this experience to publish the organic chemistry mechanism workbook. This book is novel in its approach to learning organic chemistry. It is like the organic chemistry version of Singapore math. Since I began using it, I had been able to raise my class average by 20 percentile points. The problems are presented at three levels to insure student success. Therefore, in learning organic chemistry, I never heard the expression, "I am so lost." If this describes your feeling, you should consider my book. In addition, I also support an organic chemistry webforum at www.curvedarrow.com, mechanism questions mostly. If you wish to have me answer your question, post it there or include "organic" in your Yahoo science question.
