  • How many items do you have in your email inbox?

How many items are in your email inbox? I have 4,287 and I delete about 20 junk emails a day - I just can't keep up with it all. I am just curious because 4,287 seems like so much! I used to try and keep my inbox "clean" but like I said - I just can't keep up!

  • What is the name of this old video game?

I had this game, it was probably early 90s- Nintendo (I think). It was a 2 player target game with guns, there were 2 little men cartoon characters. It was really fun and 2 players can play at the same time (at least you could do this in the arcade version, not sure about the home version). In some levels you shoot at ducks and stuff, and some you shoot at regular targets. Not really great graphics, all very cartoonish, but this game is really fun... I'd like to get this for my kids, but cannot remember the name- help! -- I am racking my brain, and it is on the tip of my tongue, lol.. It is not Time Crisis, or Duck Hunt... what is it?

  • Would a new router help wifi connection problems?

Hi-I have ATT dsl with the original 2Wire 1800HG gateway that we got years ago when we signed up for their service. We have 1 desktop/home office pc & 2 laptops, a PS3, and sometimes a Roku box that use the wireless internet connection. At least a few times every day we have to reset (by unplugging) the gateway because our laptops lose connection (it says limited connectivety and we can no longer get on the internet until we reset the gateway). Also if someone is playing the PS3, they start complaining right away when someone else is downloading something on their laptop- it makes the PS3 lag really bad.

So.. I don't know exactly where the problem is - is it the service itself? Or the old gateway? =I was thinking about trying a new gateway, or maybe switching to cable. But I am broke, can't afford a really expensive gateway (say I'd give one a try for under $50). And I can't afford more than the $33 monthly that I pay for DSL now.

I don't even know if a router is the same thing as a gateway... argg please help!. thanks.

  • what is wrong with netflix?

It is frustrating when you want to go to a site and it is down - especially when you are paying for their service. I googled "netflix down" and it's happened a couple times before.. Are they getting hacked?

  • Which is better Sanyo 2700 or LG Rumor 2?

I'm getting my son a texting phone for XMas - he is a very heavy texter- It's gotta be either the LG Rumor 2 or the Sanyo 2700. -- I'd like advice from teens that text a lot, please! These phones seem very different, so I don't know. If it were me I think I'd go with the 2700 because I wouldn't want to be sliding the keyboard out 500 times a day, but maybe that's not really a big deal. help! Thanks!

  • Which comcast boxes will work for "on demand"?

I'm getting regular basic cable installed tomorrow, for 5 TVs, but only 1 will have the comcast box that will let us view the "on demand" channel - I can't afford to pay that rental fee for all TVs. Anyways the other TVs will have channels 2-83 directly from the cable with no box. My question is- I have seen Comcast boxes for sale on Craigslist for $20 or so, - would one of those work for our other TVs -to get ON DEMAND? and if so, is it worth it? thanks!

  • What causes extreme pain in end-stage COPD?

I would like to hear from people that have experience with end stage COPD. I am caring for my mother (67 yrs old), she has had 5 hospitalizations in the past 3 months (one for about a month!). I knew that she has COPD , and has had it (that I know of) for a few years, has been on 2 liters of oxygen for a couple years. Now she is end-stage and the doctor has suggested hospice. I don't know if it is too soon or what, but what I do know is that for the past couple weeks, whenever she is awake she is crying out in pain.. How long can a person live like this - in so much pain, unable to do anything for herself. And what causes this extreme pain - is there anything I can do? She is already on liquid morphine every hr, oxycontin every 8 hrs and Lyrica twice a day and Ativan 3 times a day, and she is still crying out in pain. Please help - any suggestions?

  • Stupid question about wireless routers?

I know this is a dumb question BUT -- Can a wireless router connect to the internet wirelessly (or does it have to connected to the DSL outlet by ethernet cable)? ... What I would like to do is connect XBox live without buying that $100 xbox network adapter. I already have a router connected to the DSL in my home office (which is way too far away from the xbox/tv to use ethernet connection), so I guess I'd have to put another router in the family room and connect an ethernet cable from the xbox to that router. Is that possible?... I'm just confused now - please help! The kids have been using my laptop for Xbox live connection and I want my laptop back!

  • How can you tell if a used X-Box 360 is good or not?

Please help! My son wants an XBox 360 for his birthday and we cannot afford to buy a new one, so I am on the hunt for an affordable used one. Does anyone have any tips about this? - I am terrified of the "ring of death"! If an XBox is broken - is there any way someone can scam me and make it work for just a few minutes when I test it out? - This is a lot of money and I don't want to get burned! Is there a way to tell how old it is? Is there any particular sign of a GOOD Xbox? Thanks!

  • Why do people put viruses on the internet?

I was looking around to see if I could watch a movie online and came across a link to a website and as soon as I got on there virus warnings kept popping up. So I googled the website and found that this person is putting links to his website all over the internet for tons of different videos-- why do people do that, it must have taken a lot of time to register for all those different forums and stuff.. He is Middle Eastern, from Kabul(got the info for his website domain reg) - is it a terrorist thing? Who do I report this kind of thing to? It pisses me off! The website is sowonder.net -- DO NOT go to the site, but you can google that to see what I'm talking about, I've been going around to different sites to try and warn people not to click on the link.. but there are just too many and I don't have time. What should I do?... Thanks!

  • How can I keep from getting sick from booze?

I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago, and since then my tolerance for alcohol has decreased rapidly. Last couple parties I went to all it took was TWO drinks (once beer, once wine), I didn't get drunk but I woke up in the morning puking up bile and puked every 30 mins after that for several hours. - Anyone else have this happen? It's frustrating because I do like to drink ocassionaly, but I guess I just can't now. Anyone know a cure?
