I have had my Paragard IUD for a little over a year now and I have always been able to feel it perfectly fine. I checked it last week and I cant feel it any where! I never felt it come out or anything. I know where to feel for it and I have never had any problems feeling it so I am really concerned that I cant feel it now. I have read that sometimes it comes out but it is usually within the first days of insertion. And I have read that it could move into the uterus. I am trying to make an appointment for the doctor to check it but we just moved to the area and I am trying to get my records from my out of state doctor and it is taking forever!

Has anyone ever had this happen?

If so what did the doctor do for you?

Did you have to have surgery to get it out if it moved into your uterus? If you did will that affect your ability to have kids in the future?

If it came out did you feel it come out?

Could the string part come off and the rest stay in place?

I am really scared and I dont want to have surgery, Im hoping it just came out and I didnt notice, but then that could mean I may be pregnant, but thats better than surgery to me!

Im 35 and a half weeks pregnant and i have been having some symptoms of pre eclampsia. Seeing floating spots, headaches, nauseia, and sugar and protein in my urine. The doctor said she isnt too conserned because my blood preasure hasnt been high. BUT i have low blood preasure normaly...(90/48) and when they checked it last appointment it was 118/69 which is high for ME but they said that it was normal. Has any one with low blood preasure had this happen to them?? What is too high for someone with LOW blood preasure??
