  • Legal age for signing contracts?

    Hi, I am currently in a negotiation with the sale of some expensive software I have made.

    The buyer has created two contacts, one for the sale of the software saying that I will give them the software and he will give me the money. The second contract is simply an employment contract.

    I am currently 17 and in Australia and I am unsure as to whether Australian law says that if I sign these it is legally binding as I am under 18.

    Can anyone offer any help?
