So this is my last semester at my local community college and I'm getting my associate's degree, but I was planning on taking the next semester off. I am also still looking for other colleges/university's to continue with my Bachelor's, but I haven't decided yet. So with that, I wanted to know if I have to file my FAFSA or do I just wait until I have found my next school for the next semester? Thank you for your time!

 So I have been working at my job for around 2 years now and I currently make roughly $14.32 an hour (I live in New York), my seniority date was this past 18th, and I am going to ask my boss for a raise.

Here’s some info: Currently, I work at a pet store (A major company, not a mom&pop shop), and I have experience with regards to most aspects of the business (excluding managerial tasks). I am in a higher position at my job as I am like the right hand to the inventory manager. For the most part, I am a decent worker compared to some of my other coworkers, but I know I am not the best.

So my question is this: Would I be crazy to ask for a $.68 raise to bring myself up to $15.00? Or am I aiming too low/high? For my coworkers some are making similar amounts to what I make even though I am a higher position than them and I feel that I deserve more for the position and work that I do. I won’t accept anything less than $.50 cents as I don’t agree that I should be making that little money. Besides, minimum wage is going to change in a year, so I’d rather have something at this point.

So currently, I am 21 and am a part time student at my local community college (Under 12 credits a semester, I usually do about 9-10 credits per semester) and I work mostly part time (Around 20-25 hours per week depending). For the most part, I pay for everything of mine, Schooling, transportation, food, clothing, books, insurance, and I even give my parents money from time to time for me being there.

My question is that can i still be claimed by my parents on their taxes? I know they are not going to claim me since we've agreed that I will file my own taxes from 2019 onwards. Yet, I am not sure if I put down that I am an independent on my taxes. I've looked it up and there seems to be a lot of information out there and well I am somewhat confused about all of it. One thing to note is that I didn't receive the stimulus check at all last year.

Here's some backstory: So today I had just received the news that one of my coworkers could possibly have the coronavirus, and we all wear masks at my job but there is still a possibility of myself getting the virus. So with that, I told my friends today to get themselves tested just in case I come out positive with the virus. Which this then leads me to my main question...

Could my friends sue my job for them getting the coronavirus? Or could they even sue me?

My friends father had told her that if she comes out positive for getting the virus they would be suing my job. Which this doesn't make any sense due to the virus passing through me. So I don't think they would win any form of lawsuit with my job, only those who were working there such as myself and my coworkers. Could they even sue my job for this or is it that there is nothing they can do due to there being too many ways of getting the virus?

I am just not sure of this whole thing and if someone could help me get a better understanding of this.

So my family has a Canon printer (the model is in the question title) and I was wondering if it is able to print stickers using sticker paper? Or will i have to purchase a different kind of printer for such thing? Thank you for your time and answers!

          So I have been trying to figure out whether or not I am actually eligible for the current stimulus check that everyone around me seems to be getting. So, I filed my taxes for 2019 and I received my tax refund, yet, it seems that I am unable to get a stimulus check just because i marked the box that stated that I can be claimed as a dependent? Is that the reason? I also see that many websites and people are saying that people between the age of 17 - 24 are most likely  going to be ineligible, with that I am 20 years old.        I just don't understand this, everyone around me (people primarily around my age) are getting this and yet I go online to the IRS website to check and it seems that I am ineligible or something. I just don't know, but, for those who can shed some light on this for me, Thank you.

        So I want to start selling my stuff online, but there is a question that I have that kind of prevents me from continuing with this.

How would I report the sales tax on my taxes?

       So I am from New York and I was looking online on trying to figure out how I would report selling items on my taxes? I know If I sell an item for a loss then I don't have to report it due to not profiting off of it. But, then I see that there is a difference between having to either label myself as a business or labeling this as a hobby? 

      So I am just confused on how I am supposed to do this... Is there any way of reporting this on my own personal taxes for the following year? (I already reported my taxes for the past year) Or do I have to report this as a hobby or am I going to start this as a business?

I am generally confused on how I am supposed to do this. If someone could explain to me on what I need to do that would be much appreciated!

           So I am currently trying to find a website (or anywhere really) where I could small 1 gram gold bars from. At the moment I am new to the world of gold and have no clue on where to buy gold from (other than places that I see sell jewelry). Something particular I am looking for are Japanese 1 gram bars, however I have had no luck in finding any place. Regardless, if there is no luck with that then any credible place for purchasing gold would be helpful!
