I was working on a movie set and between every shot they would say check the gate. Well digital cameras don't have a gate so what do they mean?

What are some jobs and what kind of education/degree do they require. Anything helping people with substance abuse. I'm 24 and have never done drugs or anything but there is a story behind why I want to help people with those problems.

I'm on a budget of $550 and below for a school laptop. I'm currently looking at a lenovo g50 dual-core i7 which I've heard mixed things. I know for a fact HP is trash unless you spend $700+ but what's everyone's opinions on brands price points ext. Things I'll be doing are photo editing, netflix, lots of youtube, lots and lots of surfing the Web, running AVG anti virus and malware bytes. lots of typing papers, listening to music and maybe just maybe some light drafting and design. Are those expectations to high for $550??

I'm really confused about processor speed I need a laptop for school, photoshop, youtube and netflix and general Web browsing. A $200 laptop has a dual core intel celeron at 2.6 ghz and a $350 laptop has a 4th generation intel i3 dual core but it's only clocked in at 1.9 ghz? I don't understand I thought i3 was suppose to be better why is it slower. Also the cheap one has 2gb of ram and the other has 6bg

So I'm an athlete that plays soccer football track&field and cross country. the football team I'm working on playing for really pushes everyone to get bigger, stronger and heavier. As much as I've been hitting the gym and weights I can see my strength going up and I'm adding pounds of muscle but loosing more body fat (which is great) but will this extra weight hurt me as a runner? Note running is my favorite sport I'm very competitive.

I only have shin splints on my left leg at this point it use to be both. They said it's because of a possible muscle imbalance and I need to work on each individual leg separatly whrn I go to the gym. So does that mean I have more muscle on one leg and if so which leg should I focus on more?

So a semi pro football team said I was to small for a tryout because of my weight I'm 5'9 at 165 pounds 23 years old. I played in high school and was the best runningback on the team almost scoring every game. Semi pro is really no where close to being pro its actually a shitty league where you have to pay to play. This team has ex college players, ex high school players and people tht have never played before. Note that yes I'm small but I'm a very elusive speed half back so how the hell does one get the idea that I'm to small before even see g me in person? The **** is that ****.

I was a member at golds gym for a few months but $50 a month was just to expensive for a gym especially when I was having to pay other fee's where I play recreational sports. Planet fitness is only $10 a month and you can cancel at any time. Note that I am not a body builder I'm only 5'9 at 160 pounds. I'm a runner and I'm just looking for a gym that has equipment I can use when it's cold and also involve some weigjt training to help me improve my running ability. I signed up for this gym and they open next week next to my house if it's really that bad I'll just cancel and go to LA Fitness (best gym ever) so what's everyone's opinions??

I don't have cable right now because I'm in the process of moving but I do have Internet and a galaxy s5 android phone. Is there anywhere I can stream the super bowl I'm willing to pay for it I just need to watch this game my team is playing in it.

So an issue happened with my golds gym membership and I owe they gym like $189 and internal credit systems is threatening to actually hurt me and my family I have it all on recording. They guy got mad because I told him he was an idiot for trying to say he was going to take me to court I said good luck getting a legal team together that would cost upwards of $2,500 just for $189 and he went off. Where can I go for an issue like this?

Is an outcome of "dismissed by DA" worse than not guilty when looking at someone's record?

When I was 18 years old my senior year in high school I was arrested for "truency" and no I didn't skip school I was taken out of state by my parents and we moved. Well the charge was dismissed but i still have an arrest on my record and I'm 23 now it still causes issues with certain jobs or when ever I have to have a background check. Can I have an arrest removed from my record now that I'm a hardened criminal with a dismissed misdemeanor of high school school truency?

So I had purchased a brand new ps4 on November 17th on the release date of gta 5. Well soon after it started getting hardware failure codes and all kinds of problems and the graphics looked fine fo me at the time because I had just came from ps3... well thank goodness I was within the holiday exchange period at gamestop and got a new system day before yesterday and the graphics look way better than the other one I had? I'm really confused shouldn't all of the ps4's have the same graphics? Also will consoles graphics degrade over time if so how long

When networks film documentaries such as discovery channel & travel channel how many people would generally be on their crew?

Would it just be a camera man, a sound guy and possibly a producer or someone that is responsible for the content that the network is asking for? I'm curious how that type of thing works.

When I was 18 years old I was arrested for truency in high school, yes at the time they would charge a student at 18 years old for missing school. The charge was dismissed but I will always have an arrest record because of that will that prevent me from ever having any Leo jobs?

After the year 2011 that school system no longer charges students after the age of 17 for truency because it was deemed wrong.

So 2 years ago a neighbor falsely charged me with communicating threats class 1 misdemeanor in north carolina the district attorney dismissed the charge when the truth had came out but my question is will this stop me from passing a NICS backbackground check? I already own guns but haven't purchased anything new since before that mess. Also I have got it expunged but I wouldn't think think that makes a difference for NICS it would probably make it more of an issue as it might not directly show them what I was charged with without going in deeper.

I want a new unused playstation 2. My slim stopped working in 2009.. I have a ps3, a ps4 and the original playstation and a PSone so it only makes sense to want a working ps2. I've never had luck buying used systems so that's why I'm looking for a new one.. as many that were being sold in 2012 someone is bound to still have them.

There is a store here where I live that has every old game system you could imagine and they are really cheap $20-$50. I plan on getting as many as I can just to have a collection. I really don't care if they will never be worth anything I just want to have them. Question is will they be worth anything in 10-20 years?
