I've been knowing this particular girl for 5-6 years now and I've never had any feelings for her. But recently, starting about 2-3 months ago, I've been having these feelings. My buddies tell me she likes me but I can't truly say that she "likes" me. She always talks to a certain buddy of mine about me. For instance, she'll ask when the last time he talked to me was and whatnot. But she also tells him how she'd like me to dress. Weird right? Well, she'll go on to tell him I need to wear tighter shirts to compliment my muscles or she'll tell him what shoes I should wear and stuff. Now, they say this is a way of her "telling" my buds that she likes me, but I just don't get the connection. If she really liked me, wouldn't she be alright with the way I dress already? So, do you all think she likes me and just wants me to wear other clothes so that I look just as good as her or do y'all think she doesn't like me and just wants to change my attire. Because if it's the former, I'll have to try and talk to her about how I like her, like her, but if it's the latter, then no point in chasing something I won't be able to catch.

I need a topic for my IB History paper. I'd like it to be something semi- interesting and with tons of available information. Not something too broad nor too narrow. Time period has to be Post- Civil War through about the year 2000. Suggestions?

I'm going to try to make this as short as possible. Alright, well, over the summer I got my first job at a grocery store as a sacker. On one of my first couple of days there, this girl from my school, (a year younger than I), comes in and we talk a bit while I bag her families groceries. After that I find her on Facebook and we start chatting it up. After a couple weeks, I think things are going pretty good. I was able to get her number, we talk for hours (mainly on Facebook because of her mom), and stuff like that. We both confess that we really like each other and that we'd like to hang out. Thing was with me working and her also working, we didn't have much time to hang out. After a few months, we both had a day open up. So, I took her to the movies and stuff, and she told me how it was one of the best nights in her life and how she wished she had a replay button. So, I thought I was in there. I thought I'd have the chance to ask her to go steady with me pretty soon (going steady, going out, it's all the same). School started the Monday after the date and she said she hoped I wouldn't stop talking to her just because school had started. Anyways, after about 2 weeks of school, I noticed she was slowly started to stop talking to me. Then one day she decides to call it off, crazy huh?

We both have a semister class together and the semister is almost over. We sit on opposite sides of the room and I always try to make eye contact with her or smile, just to start out small, but it seems that she'll quickly glance over and that's it. I still like her, like, a lot. So do I still have a chance? Thing is, she told me once she "loved" me, so i don't know why she decided to call it off. Any help is helpful, obviously.
