Basically region around a magnet or a current carrying conductor is said to be magnetic field.

ulltimately whatever is causing magnetic field is nothing but charge again.

Its known that region around a charge is electric field , so the big question is how is magnetic field different from electric field?

How does it originate?

Why doesnt magnetic field effect a charge at rest?

I have already surfed the net to find out answers but none are satisfactory.

i hav written a an application using win32 api. i am trying to load a bitmap image to it.The bmp image is larger than initial window size.How to make the bmp image fit into the window.

My application uses win32 API. My main window also has a child attached to it. When the window is resized i.e minimizing, maximizing and randomly changing its size continously for some time suddenly the title bar vanishes. In the WM_SIZE message for the parent widow, movewindow function (for moving childwindow) with parameter TRUE passed so that repainting of parts of parent window like title bar occurs.

it happens when resizing is done continously.Please help

i just came across this that in the boot sector 8 bytes are stored reserved for storing the OEM id.

please expand OEM and tell me wat does it mean?

Please suggest me links which gives details about FAT file system.It should provide complete details right from scratch till end.

i am usin a RTD to measure temperature.RTD is one arm of the bridge(Pt 1000)

other arms are precision resistors(1000ohms).

in clockwise order startin frm the top left arm it is R,RTD,R ,R

the input to the AD620 is from the mid points .The top points of the bridge is connected to the dc supply.

i want the Ad 620 to give a linear o/p in the range 0 to 5volts so that i can measure the temperature range 0 to 150 degrees

the major problem is i am not sure whether to use 2 different dc supplies for the bridge and AD620 or a single supply which wud b better?

i am also not sure where to connect the REFERENCE terminal of AD620

also tell me if the o/p of AD620 is measured w.r.t REF or its GND

infact i tried the circuit with a common dc supply and the REF connected to GND of AD620 but when the bridge was perfectly balanced there was all an o/p of 0.6volt.why?

a cylinder is placed with its central axis parallel to the ground.Water is filled into it.a whole is made at the bottom(please note its not at 1 of the parallel plates).If the change in height of the water level is given

(height measured parallel to the 2 horizontal plates) how can i find the change in volume?

i use a win 2000 os,celeron processor.

the problem is whenever i start the comp never boots , it comes 2 a standstill showin the cover page. if i start in the safe mode it starts fine, i scanned 4 viruse usin mcafee 2006 but no viruses were detected.Ocassionally the comp also boots normally without any problem.I tried reinstallin the same os but the prob still persists

please help!!!!!!!!
