  • Why should people who are dating delay phone calls and messages?

I guess you could call me ignorant but, up till now, I've never really understood why people would delay messages or phone calls to someone they're dating.

I can understand why immediately it would seem silly but after 2 or 3 days? If someone texted me, I'd try to reply to them when I can, like I would anyone else. Does it just appear clingy? Are there any other reasons? Is it related to want and desire or jealousy?

It might seem simple for some but I'm really trying to understand.

Usually found on fixed undercarriage tricycle GA aircraft, what is the formal name of those pod-like casings that fit over the wheels of the undercarriage?

  • Japanese: Aisenai Aishitai - How to say in a statement?

In relation to this post: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=200910...

I've learnt that Aisenai means "I can't love" and Aishitai means "I want to love" but how can that be structured into a sentance as "I want to love you but I can't"? I've tried myself and I can come up with "Watashi wa anata wo aisenai, demo aishitai desu" - does that make sence? Or is there a better way of putting it? Thanks

  • nVidia Geforce 8800GT Overheating?

This graphics card came with the computer I bought it with about just over 1 year ago. Since then I've had no problems what so ever with the graphics card, been on a lot of high demanding games with no problems, not having to overclock or anything.

So on a game today, the computer randomly crashes. I've never seen this before. I start it up again check if it was a virus or anything and I learnt it was overheating. I read about overheating issues with the same card but I've had none till now. Summer's here and my flat has gotten hotter but this never effected the computer last year, so why would it overheat now? I've cleaned it of dust and every time I start of a game, it crashes. I've started monitoring the GPU and it crashes at 76 degrees C. I just don't get why it's doing it all of a sudden, even when cleaned. The easiest answer is to add more fans or ventilation but I want to know why this would happen and if it's possible to go back the way it was without having to add more to the computer. Thanks

  • Exponential Model S=Ae^kt prob - Finding A and K?

Hi, I'm just stuck on this tutorial problem, with little other source of help. "The number of sales, S, in 1000's, of a new cell phone is given by the formula: S=Ae^kt

Where t is the time in weeks after the launch. In the weeks leading to the launch, 3000 phones are ordered (when t=0, S=3)

In the 6th week, 4500 are sold. Find A and K." Help greatly appreciated =)

  • Why cant I type the ' key anymore??

It happened just like that - I dont think I changed anything. The key doesnt work. When I press it, the keyboard layout switches to Thai (Cause I use both Thai and English Keyboard), and the Thai key for the ' button works fine. Even when I switch to a different keyboard it doesnt change a thing. Because I can no longer use the ' key, I cant get the @ key either.

So Ive gotten rid of the Thai keyboard just to fix this - Ive learned that pressing the ' key once doesnt do anything but if I hold it long enough, after a short pause, itll repeat itself, like all other keys do when you hold it down. When I hold down the ' key, ' starts to repeat itself, the same with @ when I hold shift. So its not completely dead but I cannot get it to work when I press it once, if that makes sence. Argh! I feel like Im one step away from fixing it.

Ive tried Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator but unfortunatly that didnt do anything as it registered the ' as active. Even when I try to on-screen keyboard, it still doesnt work. Thanks!!

  • Internet connections with wireless going pear shaped?

I've had a computer online wireless for 3 years. This computer is a Windows XP and had no problems with it.

Now recently, I've gotten myself a new pc and tried to hook this new one to the internet in the same way. It's not any further away from the router. The PC is Windows Vista. Installed the same network card as from the old PC (Vista confirms it's compatible), turned it one and it was fine. In fact, I'm typing this out on the new Vista computer. Only that it'll randomly disconnect from the router, and this can become very annoying. I thought it was something to do with the signal from from the router being weak, but it became clear that's not the case as once it was on a "Very Good" signal, wanted IE to go to google homepage and it delayed only to come with "Page cannot be displayed." until suddenly randomly and instantly will go to google. Same with FFox. MSN will d/c and I sometimes get "Little or no connectivity" displayed

From testing, the PCI slot & adapter has no probs

  • Installing a second hard drive problem?

Hi, I'm not very good at hardware stuff.

Currently, I have two 250GB hard drives with Windows Vista installed on both (it somewhat seems). On the Computer folder, it shows that there is only one C drive with a capacity of 500GB, obviously the total of the 2 put together.

I've bought a 500GB hard drive and I wish to replace one of the 250GB hard drives. However, if I take one out, it states during the startup that there is no OS - and the exact same happens when I take the second one out when connecting the other one back. And yet that Vista shows only one drive with 500GB confuses me.

Is there any way to upgrade one HD to the new 500GB one whilest keep Vista on the other 250GB?
