Just a Question of curiosity that may sound silly, are all Royal marines on active duty issued with ID Discs or is it just the officers?

I ask because i was watching a documentary on Royal Marines serving in Afghanistan, and only the CO seemed to be wearing any.

I’ve been having a little internet trouble. I have a desktop PC in my bedroom, two rooms from where the BT home hub is the signal bar on my desktop displays between 2 and 4 bars on a good day and i can connect to most websites with ease.

But when i try to play an online game such as Mine craft, Star Trek online etc. i experience poor latency/ Ping and i have trouble connecting to servers. Nothing fixes it.

I have an idea that might work, by buying a new wireless adapter, an external one i can position somewhere around my room away from sources of interference.

However I’m unsure which adapter to buy or even if this will fix the problem. Help please

Me and my girlfriend have been going out for nearly 8 months now, we were really close and intimate, practically inseparable. In september she went off for university and i still have another year in college. I trust her completely however she doesn't share the same trust in me.

The main problem is we don't see each-over anymore. If were lucky we will have time to see each-over once a week or fortnight. I know it isn't everything but we haven't been having sex as much either.

I love her to bits and it would break my heart if we have to break up but honestly, i think its breaking my heart more not seeing her as much. Can anyone give me advice here i don't know what i should do.

Ok so there's this girl i like. now up until recently ive barely spoken to her (yet known her through high school), but now were spending more time together in class and stuff im really starting to like her. trouble is i duno if the time is right to ask her on a date. we talk allot and she is almost always interested in what ive got to say, as am i. she'll ask for my help with classwork sometimes and when i bump into her in town while im on my lunch break, she will always stop and say hi/talk for a few minutes or even better completely switch direction and walk with me. Someone said she liked be and when she found out she didn't deny it. so what do you think? is it time to ask that all important question??? already asked my friends about this but they all have useless answers ¬.¬

who here like me believes that it is as much every ones right to be able to purchase a rocket and explore space as much as it is every free persons right to purchase a plane and explore the planet. i think commercial space travel should be allowed. if joe blogs wants to point his ship towards the nearest star and spend eternity alone then so be it. No one else lives here but us so we should be able to put claim to anything in this system. so why the hell isnt NASA researching commercial travel into space. surely they could do with the extra man power. something like 42% of the population of earth want to be able to go into space so nasa looks at top pilots and trains them to go up for a week and then go home. well why not do it for ordinary people. they dont have to fly but sooner or later there are going to have to be civilians in space. im interested on your views on this

I was in a long term relationship with a girl. everything was going great and we were really intimate. Ive been going out with this girl from school for about 3 months now, were quite happy, we have our "episodes" (but who doesn't) average day is we meet at break hug, kiss talk hang out. end of break bell goes we hug, kiss part ways until lunch where i have to stay in and study for most of lunch for this week usually id be out at lunch. I recently changed my badge from pin contacts to a magnetic back but i miss sized the piece of metal i used and it is too small for the magnet, i now need to remove the two pieces which are held by all purpose super glue. how do i remove them. Nail polish remover, hot soapy water. what?. please help.
