My dad died, problem is I haven't talked to him in over 10 years. He was a rapist, chimo etc etc. I cut ties w/ his side of the family because I wanted nothing to do with him and my mom had a restraining order on him and in court he said " i want nothing to do with (my mom) or (me) ever again". Now that he died, they say I HAVE to call them to give permission to have him cremated. Do I have alegal obligation to do this or can his family take care of it without me? This is part of my life I'd left long in the past and I dont want to HAVE to do anything.

So my gf and I got a holywood video membership so we can rent as much as we want w/o late fees and such. We decided to give True Blood a go and we're hooked now. Problem is season 2 isn't available yet so does anone know somewhere online we can watch it? I wanna be all caught up before season 3 starts

So my GF and I went through a drive through the other day and I had been noticing this for awhile..why, when they give you your food do they say thank you and in return most people say thank you right back but nobody ever says you're welcome? Just thought it was odd

So I have lived in this apartment for 2 years now and the manager is constantly changing things, She Put a lock on the gym so that we can't get in past a certain hour. There is a TV room that she put a deadbolt on. In that TV room we use to get digital cable which she decided was to expensive and dropped it to basic.. She denied us use of the downstairs bathrooms because there use to be a pool and there isn't anymore so she said that's all the restrooms were for. She was recently forced to open them to us since we pay the building water. Every few mornings at around 10 the garbage truck comes, our apartment is right above the garbage and it shakes the entire apartment for 10 minutes. She is constantly opening the window in the hall right outside our apartment(THIS TIME OF YEAR!) and it blows in under our door causing us to need heat. She fired the other girl who worked in the office to hire her daughter who is now living with her.

I could go on forever. My question is, is she within her legal right to change the amenities in such a way when we have a lease? Is she allowed to bar us from any of the amenities?

One other thing she did... there was a handicap man smoking in the gym so she closed the entire gym for 2 weeks until she could get him kicked out.

I don't see what good could come of this from a Marvel fan's perspective. Are they gonna change it and make it family oriented? Shoot me now please.

Ok I voted for him and I wasn't expecting him to be a miracle cure.

The question here really is why do people think he is evil? He is a man hired to do a job. He wanted the healthcare thing because there are so many people without it and our country is getting fatter and sicker all the time. He is a human first, period! He has the same thoughts and emotions as any of us..same as you. So are you evil? Probably not.

I wasn't a bush supporter but I know he did what he thought was best for the country regardless of how it turned out and I respect that. How can people be so blinded by hate that they just believe anything that fox news tells them? Sorry he isn't evil and neither are you, think about it, let him do his job and see if it works out. If he doesn't succeed then we vote for someone else.

So lately I've noticed more bands using serial killers as band names like they are some sort of ******* heroes. Marilyn manson and his entire group basically, there's the wayne gacy trio and my oldroommatee called himself johnny dahmer after jeffrey dahmer. Why do people idolize these sick *****? I know charles manson has a huge fan following. Should people be banned from profiting off these guys names? is it inconsiderate to the victims?

I personally, when I hear of some brutal killing or some sick **** that goes down have decided I'm not gonna listen to the names of the ones responsible so they don't become famous for it....any opinions?

I'm kinda pissed that they sell male products and yet only women are allowed at the parties and in fact if you host a party you have to sign a paper saying no men will be in the house or anywhere near at all really. They claim to also sell "relationship aids" and I'm wondering how they can do this and not allow half of one of these relationships to go. Seems it would have the opposite effect to me.

I am not particularly skilled and nowadays all these places make you apply online. You go in to try and talk to a manager or something and you get turned away, they say "you have to apply online and they will call you" My strength has always been the ability to schmooze and this takes that away from me.

I was wondering if the military would still disqualify someone who WAS a type 2 diabetic but lost the weight. Technically they would no longer be diabetic since thier sugars would be in control but since there is no official cure would they still consider you diabetic and deny you?
