I have been viewing and receiving Virgin Media services for around ten months of an eighteen month contract. The written contract document that i was supposed to sign and return within fourteen days was never returned to them by me even though i am receiving the service ( The document is till in my possession ) , also the contract is not signed by an employee / representative of Virgin Media in the box for a signature from the company it just says Virgin Media . Can i legally cancel this contract part way through its term with out paying a penalty / surcharge for early cancellation ? , or does the contract remain in force and binding due to me receiving services from them ?.

If i put in a claim for working tax credits in April 2013 ( as a single person aged 25 or over , no dependents working 32 hours a week or more ) and i have not received any payments at all for the year now that i have my P60 for the tax year ending 05th April 2014 stating my earnings for the tax year were £10 398 .00 , how much money if anything could i receive as a lump sum payment back dated to my original working tax credits claim last April ?

I have various debts with several lenders and some of the lenders have sold my debts on to debt collection agency;s even though there is a repayment plan in place , i have continued to pay the agreed amounts to the debt collection company;s but was wondering if i legally have to pay them as i have no credit agreement with the debt company ? , can i request a copy of my original credit agreement from the company who sold my debts to the debt collection company and dispute the debt if they do not provide the original agreement . Also can the debt be cancelled / marked settled if the company do not provide the agreement ?

If your credit card account debts get sold on to a debt collection company how is the information held with the credit reference agency's , is the credit card marked as settled or does the report get the debt collection company's name listed as acting on behalf of the credit card company . Also if you decide to go bankrupt do the debt collection company's pass the debt back on to the bank or do they loose out as they are now managing the accounts ? .

the court have ordered a community order of 12 months , unpaid work requirement 80 hours , supervision order .

Is this a reasonable sentence and will the offender get any time off for good behaviour / adhering to the terms and conditions , also what will happen if he breaks the conditions ?.

I have just been accepted for a job and start tomorrow morning at 8am finishing after 5pm i would normally sign on for benefits on a wednesday to be paid the following monday . what would i be entitled to and when will i now be paid ? , plus can i claim a travel pass for a month or anything else to help me get to my new job until i get paid by my new employer , due to my start and finish times i am unable to go to the job centre plus office to speak to an adviser and let them know i wish to finish claiming for job seekers allowance or to ask about any means of help i may be entitled to until i first get paid . I will be filling in the declaration in the booklet i got when i first started to claim job seekers allowance to end my claim , is there an out of hours help line number or anything that i can contact regarding additional help etc ?.

Whilst doing a house Clarence i have come across 22 copper coloured coins similar in size to a two pound coin with the words Carling on the back and Carling F A Premiership on the front , what were they made for or intended to be used as and is there a value to them ?

Bottle one is a one liter bottle of Jack Daniels 1895 replica bottle (43%vol) unopened and boxed still with tag to register it at the distillery ,

I have seen the enamel pin badges without a date on , and then some dated the ones with a date on that i have seen have been for 2009,2010,2011,2012, was wondering in what year they were first issued with a date on ?. I have also seen one for the Diamond Jubilee 1952-2012 but cant seem to find a price or stockist for the jubilee pin badge ?.

How long would a caution last for before its considered as spent ? Also if an employer carried out a criminal record check would a caution be visible to them the same as a conviction would ?

I am thinking of going self employed as a market trader selling second hand goods / brick a brack , ( in the UK ) working over thirty hours a week . I was wondering what working tax allowances and benefits if any i would be entitled to after i have paid all of my running expenses , I am not expecting to make a lot of money if any after running cost , but will not run at a loss !!! Also what can you claim as business expenses besides the usual ? eg stall rents - cost of gods / replacement stock -travel cost / millage . Any useful websites and information appreciated .
