Retired Dinosaur Assembly Language Programmer/System Analyst/Control Engineer. I was a consultant using QNX as an operating system (mainly as a text editor/dumb terminal to interface with Honeywell 6/43 minicomputers that were used to control paper machines and other industrial processes). I was programming these 19" rack mount monsters from 1977 to 2004 in assembly language using a DX4-100 PC with 16MB of ram and dual boot (QNX/WFW3.11). I still sometimes fire up this box in WFW311 and connect through our home network to the new XP PPro box. Note to Bill Gates: I have a nice house, built a swimming pool, and retired early ONLY due to QNX - IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN DONE AS EFFICIENTLY with your flagship "Broken Windows".

  • Yahoo Portfolios - Cannot change portfolio holdings?

    Yahoo portfolios will not accept holdings changes since you made recent software changes.

    I reported this as incident 121008-042937 on 08Oct2012.

    The response back to me was that they were able to duplicate the problem; that was on the 9th of October, 2012. It is still broken (16Oct2012). The yahoo portfolio is worthless if I can't edit it. When is this going to be fixed?

    I also think that it SUCKS big time, that I will be charged 5 points to report a problem with your buggy software.
