  • How much per gram or ounce do gold buyers pay for old gold?

I know the price of gold is over $1100.00 per ounce right now, but I'm wondering what jewelers and pawn brokers pay for your unwanted old gold. Has anyone sold their old gold and know exactly what they were paid per ounce or gram?

  • Causes for wet sensation on the bottom of my foot?

For the past several weeks I've noticed that sometimes it feels like I stepped in water between my first and second toes on my right foot. It only happens when I'm barefoot and it only happens in the same area. I always check to make sure it's not anything wet I've stepped in. I can't seem to duplicate it by pressing on my foot. Although it does happen on a daily basis, it's random enough that I can't seem to figure out what might be causing it. I searched on-line and found some others with similar problems. One person mentioned recently taking cholesteral medication, which I have as well, so I plan to ask my doctor this week when I see her. However, the "doctor" on the web-site replied to these people my symptoms as a neurological problem or just all in the head. I know my problem is not in my head. I just wonder if anyone has heard of this problem or has it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • How can my insurance company tell me this?

I have a Total Health Care in Michigan. My 4 year old just got glasses. Because it's an HMO, I had to go to one of the few stores on the list to fill the prescription. Well, the place I went to didn't seem to have any knowledge about fitting children's glasses. Of coarse since I didn't either, I didn't realize it at the time. Well, they have a 30 day return policy, so I want to return them and go someplace else. However, my insurance company is telling me that I can return them, but my coverage only allows 1 pair of glasses every 2 years and no replacement coverage.

So my question is, why is the store that filled the prescription going to get paid by my insurance company and I'm out of luck? If the insurance company doesn't stop payment to the store, can I demand that the store also reimburse me for the portion the insurance company billed? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. I'm running out of time and patience.

  • Advice for buying 4 year old with Down Syndrome Glasses.?

My daughter has Mosaic Down Syndrome, which means not all of her cells have the extra 21 chromosome. Therefore, she does not have the physical characteristics of DS. I recently had to purchase glasses for her and purchased them from a store on my HMO list. From the time we left the store, they slip down her nose. I took them back for and adjustment, but they still slip. I've heard that many children with DS have a low bridge, which causes their frames to slip down their nose. One place I called that specializes in children's frames never heard of that. I want the glasses to fit her, so they'll help her, but now I've exhausted my insurance benefits. I've been checking prices and found a huge price variance between stores. I can understand that with frames, but why with lenses? Costco is as low as $20, but other stores want $140, and the ones I bought listed for $220 (insurance covered some of that). I'm so confused. I don't want to overpay, but I don't want to cut corners on my daughter's eyesight. She's only 4, so this is an important learning time for her. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Any mom's have a recommendation for a good vacuum (NOT bagless).?

I need to replace my old Hoover, which has served me well for 14 years. There are so many on the market now. I bought a Kenmore, but it's so heavy. I've got an infant and toddler, so I'm vacuuming a lot. I would prefer one that is light weight and quiet, but has to clean well.

  • Anyone used the Fisher Price sit and stand stroller?

I'm looking for a sit & stand stroller. I found one for sale on craigslist. It's made by Fisher Price. I can't find any stores on line that sell them to get reviews. This stroller isn't even on the Fisher Price web-site. Anyone ever use this stroller? Thanks for your info/comments.

  • Potty training tips for 2-1/2 year old girl.?

I introduced the potty to my daughter about a year ago because she had shown signs that she was interested. But because she was so young, I never pushed it. After she turned 2, she was peeing on the potty a few times a day. Again, I didn't push it because I had baby and I know children sometimes regress with a new sibling. My son is now almost 5 months old, so I think this is no longer an issue. The biggest problem we have is that when she poops, she'll take off her diaper/pull-up. She has done this at times with wet diapers as well. However, we have less success now when we put her on the potty. We have both a potty chair and small lid for the toilet, so we let her choose. I took her to the store and let her pick out underwear, but she went in those too. We have tried to reward system with suckers, but I don't really want to do that because she's a hyper kid. Before I try another reward system, I'd like any useful advise or good books anyone can recommend. Thanks.

  • Has anyone with gestational diabetes ever delivered early? If so, how early?

I had it with my first baby and I went full term. I had a cesarean because she was breech. I am 34 weeks pregnant again with gestational diabetes, and have decided to have another cesarean. I am nervous about going into labor early. My OB told me that women with gestational diabetes tend to go beyond their due date because although the babies can be larger, they develop slower, so he will not induce me any earlier. I'm actually thinking of postponing my cesarean 4 days past my due date, but I'm afraid of going into labor. I don't want to have an emergency cesarean because I want make sure my OB will perform it. Thanks for any information you can offer.

  • Anyone gotten pregnant without having sore breasts?

I am in my 6th month ttc. My cycles are very regular 27-29 days max. I am on day 31 and no signs of AF. I have been pregnant twice before - one miscarriage and one child. Both times I was pregnant, my breasts got sore just before my expected period. I have felt some twinges, but nothing like before. I have been nauseous on and off over the past week, but I don't know if it's a side effect from the Clomid/HCG injections or if I might have a hint of the flu. My daughter just had the flu for 5 days. I haven't vomited though. I'm going for a blood test tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone else didn't experience any of the normal pregnancy symptoms and found out they were pregnant. I would like to read about your experiences. Thanks for your input.

  • Any Clomid users switched to Femera with success?

I conceived my daughter at age 35 after 8 rounds of Clomid. I am 38 now and on my 6th round of Clomid ttc again. According to my bbt charts, I have been ovulating. My husband's sperm count is normal. I just went to a fertility specialist yesterday and he told me that he only recommends 3 rounds of Clomid before moving on to a more agressive approach. Because of my age, he recommends IVF. However, my insurance doesn't cover any infertility treatments. So, he gave me an option of trying Femara. I'm just wondering if anyone has switched from Clomid to Femara and had success conceiving? If so, how long did it take you to conceive on the Femara? Any personal experiences you can share would be helpful. Thank you.
