  • Anyone notice the only Footy Show (ARL) worth watching this year was when Russel Crowe talked some sense?

I used to love that program once upon a time. Year by year, they have just got more and more self centred and ridiculous. Matty John's 'acting' drives me insane, and it would be good if they could return to some serious comment about the game.

When Russel Crowe was on a couple of weeks ago he blew me away with his knowledge of the game. And he pulled those other idiots up every time they made a stupid throw away comment.

I'd watch the Russel show. But those idiots ... grow up boys!

  • Is there such a thing as mathematical dyslexia?

Talking to a brother with severe dyslexia, I realised I handle numbers exactly the same way he handles words. I can do most things in my head, but the second I have to convert it to paper .... disaster.

Using a formula and calculator, I can do exactly what the formula asks but have noooo idea why the answer is what it is.

If I write down a phone number, I will put numbers back to front and upside down. Yet I can recall a number and speak it out correctly.

I've often wondered if any research has been done on this, and whether or not there is any programs developed to help the numerically challenged.

  • If marijuana is performance enhancing, wouldn't you thing Michael Phelps would have to stop for food mid race?

I'm a bit over the 'sportsmen are role models" line that's trotted out every time one of them does something stupid.

For the most part, they are very young, very spoilt, males whose only real contribution to life so far is the fact that they have spent their entire life getting good at one thing.

I can't see millions of kids hitting the bong because Phelps did. Give the guy a break. If that's the worst thing he does, he's still pretty much a good kid.

And if marijuana is performance enhancing, then I'm getting a bong tommorrow to prepare for the 2012 Olympics!

  • Can you beleive choker Joker Dokovich pulled a sicky when defending his slam?

I wouldn't find it so surprising if it wasn't for the fact that the guy has been talking himself up since he was 17! He might think he's in Federer and Nadal's league, but seriously, he has a bit to learn yet methinks. I know he pulls out a lot when he's losing, but even though I'm no fan, I never for a minute thought he would do it defending his slam.

  • Anyone else seen RF hanging out in South Western Sydney this week?

I'm positive he was tailgating me in Picton last Monday.

Am I crazy or would he have reason to be here at this time of the year.

    Just wondering

  • Isn't it time that a new generation had a chance to shape the world?

I'm not in the States, but I sincerely hope that Stateside you follow the trend elsewhere in the world and vote for your YOUNGER candidate.

We live in a world now that has complex needs, and it is time that the apprentices have their chance to move up to tradesmen.

Whatever happens, please don't let the leader of the free world be decided by 500 votes in a recount!! I'm not sure the world will look back kindly on Bush2.

Be brave, vote young. Vote for a new way of thinking.

  • Is the Australian Olympics Coverage ATROCIOUS?

I cannot beleive this coverage. They couldn't stay out of the swimming pool for a week, and now can't let us watch a FINAL that the Aussies are in for basketball without flipping of to a German hockey match and adverts forever and ever. Those guys at Seven need a kick up the ass.

  • workplace trouble and the rubble left behind?

Having recently left the job from hell, where bullying was a daily event, I now don't know how to put a good light on it at job interviews. And I don't want any reference checks done there.

How do you handle it, and how much do you tell?
