3 AnswersVideo & Online Games5 years agoAC in my pop up tent trailer?
I recently purchased a 2005 Fleetwood Niagra Pop Up Tent Trailer. I was wondering if I purchased a portable AC @ 8000 BTU, can I run it normally off my tents outlet with the lights on? Or does it have to be the only attachment to the campsites hookups?
7 AnswersCamping6 years agoMy Chihuahua bit/ attacked by husky mix. suing in CA. Advice please?
My cousin was dog sitting a Siberian husky mix. and I have a Chihuahua. long story short, my Chi was bit/attacked because he jumped up onto the couch to sit in my lap and the husky mix went after him over what I believe is a dominance display. My Chi ended up with a puncture wound in his head a laceration in his ear and a hemorrhage in in his left eye. I have asked the dog owner for reimbursement of vet fees and she refuses to pay any vets bills past the initial emergency vet bill. I am not a sue happy individual however, I absolutely hate and despise irresponsible dog owners. I will be taking her to small claims for remaining vet fees. but in CA can I also push for loss of wages and court fees for having to go to court. I know anyone can sue for anything but the likelihood of those fees being granted? if I can t get a Saturday hearing? And again this is not going to be a sure thing the other dog owner may changer her mind.
6 AnswersDogs6 years agoWhich garnishment Should I expect to be collected?
Okay, lets try this again..
The past due child support is in the 6 digits. I have court orders for a garnishment of 50% + 10% of his payroll. He is currently in a separate case where he will be looking at a good sized settlement.
So my question is this, in regards to his settlement income from the other case. What formula would be followed in garnishing his settlement and sent to the kids? the 50% + 10% or would the kids receive the whole settlement until arrearage is paid in full as his tax returns and lottery winnings would be?
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoDo Nandays Travel Well?
I will be traveling to a vacation home in the forest for New Years and I have had recently acquired a Nanday. She is on my shoulder ALL DAY, and is not really agreeable to anyone else in the house. I was wondering if I should take her with me or leave her home. If I leave her home I believe no on will let her out of her cage the entire time (4 Days). However I can't decide if a 3 hour drive would be more stressful for her. I have a travel cage for her which she is accustomed to for trips to the vet and for nail trimmings, but she squawks nervously while in the car. HELP!! Which is the lesser of 2 evils?
The vacation home is in the forest, and a cabin style 2 story house. Also will she be affected by much colder weather? If it takes a few hours to warm the house will she be okay if I can put her in a small room with a space heater, but that's a really big temp change in such a short period of time. Are they terribly sensitive to that?
And for those that like to preach, I am a responsible pet owner!! She flew to my shoulder while I was just watching my kids in the front yard, I did not just go to the nearest pet shop and purchase a pretty birdie all willie nilly. I tried to find her home unsuccessfully. I have bird experience, but my past bird sitters have since moved thousands of miles away and my current friends are to nervous to watch her as they don't know birds at all.
2 AnswersBirds7 years agoHow is the safest way to repaint my parrot cage?

1 AnswerBirds8 years agoHow Do I Adjust My Passenger Headlight Beams?!?!?!?
I have a 2002 Nissan Altima and last year when a bulb blow I had the replaced by a local mechanic. They were fine till then. Then my passenger low beam was higher then my high beams! I returned to the mechanic and he says that the beam is not adjustable it's just a bulb that snaps in and out. But something changed and I need to change it back before I get a fix it ticket.
Last week The same bulb blew again and I replaced the bulb myself as to avoid that clueless mechanic with the help of Google. But now I am stuck with this situation. I do have faith in myself as this is just a headlight!!
I will award "Best Answer" to the person who is the first one who can walk me through this as thought I was an idiot, and I actually fix this based on their answer.
Thank You So Much!!
6 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoNight time heat bulbs for my tortoises?
I have a Hermann and Greek tortoises inside at night and will not be hibernating this winter due to not perfect health, I got them with hookworm and my vet says the treatment for that would do more harm then good, and a clean tank at all times would clear this up in a few months with no harm to the babies; AND it is my first year with them. So I know I have to keep the warm through winter and I have a UVB and a Basking lamp on during the day, 90 deg./70deg. Those are set to timers that come on at 6am and off at 9pm. However my concern is at night. The house can drop down to mid 50's during the winter at night. I am thinking I will need a 25-50watt blue bulb to maintain a 60deg.+/-. But just wanted the input of more experienced Tort parents. I will be keeping them in a open top 55 gallon fish tank with cardboard taped to the outside so they know there is a barrier and not go crazy trying to go through glass all the time. Thank you so much for any answers I receive!! I am not trusting of the pet shops around here. Oh yes, and my temps are all Fahrenheit =)
