I'm In the market for a new laptop I'm trying to spend 800 dollars. I need it to be good for school and I also would like if it was good for playing games too

So I work at a grocery store and this older lady walked up to me and we started chatting. She asked my age, I'm 22, and wanted to know if i wanted to make a career working at this store and I told her no and that I'm going to school. She then told me has a small business and wanted to know if i interested in alternative career options. She didnt say what her bussiness and acted very secretive on what she was talking about. She said she didn't want to distract me from my work so we exchanged numbers and went our own Ways. We talked over the phone the next day and she was saying how she knows a way that people can earn enough money by their mid 20s that would take until people were in there 40s to make and that it would be about 10 hours of work per week to do. She mentioned that she has a mentor and she would give me a book for free and its a 3 hour read and is written by some financial supervisor. When I asked her on what exactly is she talking about she just said that I should read the book and make decision after that. She said that she had to eat now and had a meeting in an hour so she had to hang up the call and maybe this route isn't this best for me but if I was interested I could call her and she would give me the book, and then we hung up.

In task manager disk goes to 100 for like an hour or two everyday causing my laptop to run slowly. The only thing I can find to fix was disabling superfetch or Windows search, and my questions are will this help, what are the drawbacks for disabling them, and do you have a better solution. i cant uninstall in my control panel under, control panel --> all control panel items --> programs and features. When I try to uninstall it brings me to the gorrilaprice website and it wont go away. I think uninstalled it everywhere else like in regedit and in my program files in my control panel, but maybe there is another spot and its stopping it. I also use windows 8. please help
