I took my DMV behind the wheel test for the second today and I failed again today despite having no errors in all other sections with except for one error in the critical errors section. The same thing happened last time where I got a full score on all the other sections but got one CDE when the examiner intervened by slamming the brake. Should I go in my parents vehicle next time to avoid the examiner slamming the brakes? even my driving instructor finds the odds crazy. I was making a right turn on red today and a car was speeding in the lane closest to the curb. I made a full stop at the red light then inched forwards to stop again to get better sight. The road was curved so my visibility was not as good as usual but I decided to go as I saw that it was clear on the left and just as I accelerated a car came speeding at least 20 miles over the speed limit and my examiner freaked out and slammed the brakes. She had to give me an automatic fail as she slammed the brakes. Any advice on how I should prepare for a scenario like this if it were to occur on my next driving test??

My driving test is on 03/06/16, the DMV told me that I cannot take the test on a F1 with an invalid I-20. I am not having an I-20 renewed as I will be moved to becoming a domestic student. My mom has received her L1 and my L2 is on its way but it could take up to 4 months to arrive. Would the best option be to simply leave the US to a close country for holiday and return on a B2, so I can have an updated I-94 which shows that I am under the B2 class and use my B2 to take the driving exam?

I am currently on an F1 visa which is dependent upon my I-20 which has a duration of status until June 1st, 2016. My L2 may not be physically received for up to 4 months. Im just wondering what legal status I would be on whilst the L2 is pending. FYI my I-20 will not be renewed.

Could I just pay for a dorm, and live at home for freshmen year?

Im taking my driving test next month and the DMV needs my legal presence again. When I received my permit 5 months ago, I used my F1 visa with an I-20 that showed that I would complete my studies no later than June 1st 2016. Im in the middle of a status change to become an L2 resident, but won't receive the physical visa for up to 4 months. My F1 visa itself will not expire for another 10 years but i'm not exactly sure if the DMV will accept it. Should I use my tourist visa (currently valid), F1 visa (currently valid but without a valid I-20) or tell them that I am in the middle of a status change?

Also, if applicable, would the adjustment to US permanent residenceship be immediate or guaranteed?
