I'm not sure she will ever read this, but this is to someone who I had a great time with last summer. Even though our situations were complicated, we both spent time together and seemed to relate to each other very well. Unfortunately I haven't heard from her since August and I'm not sure if it is because it was something I did or if it was primarily because of our situations. I am posting this in the hope that she reads this and will let me know. If you ever need anything, you should know how to reach me. I miss all your craziness. ;-)

Ok, I am doing round two of oatmeal cookies this weekend. The first time I went with 2 sticks of butter and no shortening and they came out flatter and not the right texture. Should I go 1/2 shortening and 1/2 butter or go all shortening this time...and why?

I've been paying child support for the last 12 years, the last 6 to Virginia Child support enforcement. I have always paid what has been agreed to, but got screwed by my ex several years back when I was out of work for 5 months, and every summer we have to make an adjustment because I am not required to pay child support while my children are with me. Luckily, next May is my last payment!!

I was curious how many have dealt with the idiots at these agencies and whether they, not occasionally, but ALWAYS make things difficult and make you feel like some kind of criminal on parole? Is there any effective way to deal with them?

Anyone have a good old fashion oatmeal cookie recipe? I am interested in one that you've actually made and loved, not a link to a recipe site. I can only try one tonight, obviously so if you want me to try yours, let me know why you like it so much. Thanks!

My numbers were:

Cholesterol: 158

Triglycerides: 104

LDL: 98

HDL: 39

So how can my overall cholesterol appear great, but my HDL numbers, which is supposed to be the good cholesterol be low? It's actually been lower in the past, but my overall cholesterol has always been in the 155-165 range. I've switched to eating a lot more fish and I do cardio everyday. Except needing to eat more veggies, which probably won't happen, I'm not sure what, if anything, I can do.

I've downloaded and tried several and found Cucusoft to work well, the problem is when I convert to avi it stops after about an hour into a video. What do you use that works great?

ps I am doing this to watch on my home theater system, so the quality has to be good.

If you knew someone for several months and had an up and down relationship and they suddenly stopped responding to you would you do what you could to get some kind of closure? I know where she lives but would never ever go there. I did leave her alone for 3 weeks but I did google her during that time, something I'm not proud of. But it was out of character for her. Many things go through your mind..is she hurt, did she break her phone again. Yeah that actually happened when we first met.

Well I finally decided to contact her last night via text and here on yahoo answers, and when I woke up this morning she had blocked me. Not the answer I was hoping for but I was looking for closure, and there really is no way to positively spin that.

Right now all the emotions that would have been stretched out for months, wondering, have now been compressed. I know I will get over it faster, but the pain will be more intense. I got into a 100+ mile game of tag with a 300z on the highway this morning while listening to Hate me by Blue October. I love that song and the group. By the way, I won. :-)

Curious if you feel if I overstepped and violated her privacy. How would you have handled it. Do you think posting this question is in bad taste too since she may be reading it?

FYI...I have deleted her number and won't contact her anymore.

Does age matter in dating and do you have a limit in how much older or younger a person can be?
